Food is very basic - think basic cafe and it's not far different. Menu was not the one on the web and was very limited. Wine glass was chipped; no soup spoon so used my pudding spoon . Definitely won't bother again.

We had reserved a table for a pre-concert meal and were not disappointed. We received superb service and great food. Especially liked the way everything was both extremely well presented and came quickly (but it was made clear that there was no rush) so we were able to savour the food and be out in plenty of time to take our seats for the concert.

Lovely meal and service, although it did feel rather rushed as we all.needed to be out in time for the concert!

The food was tasty but small portions. Overpriced for what it was. No ambience, only 5 tables in use in whole restaurant. Staff were helpful and attentive, but there were too many of them for the number of customers, so we got asked twice on a few occasions for the same thing. Whilst the food was tasty it was very overpriced for what it was.

Generally we thought everything was very good except for the complete absence of vegetables. Steaks were well cooked and service very good.

A quick 3 course meal before Hever Theatre . Limited choice on menu, service was quick and efficient. Portion size good for age of diners and well prepared.

Having heard service poor we were very pleasantly surprised. My sea bass was dry and needed a sauce Chicken supreme good. Ambience is not easy to fix. It is a boring cube.

Not impressed Steak tough and small , gaspachio didn’t have croutons etc at £25 for two course s very poor value wouldn’t go there again with current caterers

The food was good , my partners portion of smoked salmon was extremely small and some bread to accompany it would have been nice.
