Food was absolutely incredible, especially the cheesecake. The service was not so great, the restaurant was not very busy but we hardly ever saw our server. There were a bunch of staff walking around but we, hardly ever got our waters filled or were checked on. For such a nice place I expected the service to reflect that.

Good and service were excellent! We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, tomahawk steak, mash and fire roasted beets. Everything was amazing!

Great service and great food! Friendly and attentive servers make the Guild a great choice to eat lunch or dinner.

Delicious starters and Mains. Quality food in a congenial environment with excellent service from Cassie . A lovely anniversary treat. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

The flat-iron steak cooked over birchwood on an Argentine grill was a truly a mouthwatering experience. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, was well-rested, beautifully seasoned, juicy and flavorful. I could taste the quality of the beef and the subtle smoke from the grill. I am a convert to birch and will definitely return for a dry aged steak. The wood fired beets and carrots were also very memorable. Finally, a wood fired grill where you can taste the wood smoke. Had visited Bridgette Bar the previous night and it smelled great OUTSIDE, but the halibut we had was severely underseasoned and had little to no wood smoke. Looked to me like they had piled all the cherrywood at the back of the grill and all the smoke was going up their ventilation system. Very disappointing. Pull apart bread was fine if a little sweet for my taste. Dining partner's salmon and lentils (a classic pairing) was nicely seasoned and cooked and surprisingly not dry for being a pink instead of a red salmon. My only suggestion is for more wine options by the glass. I am always pleased when I see a wine list featuring some of the stunning wines produced in BC and Ontario.

Everything was amazing! Service was great, super friendly staff - the only thing I would maybe suggest is giving servers and bartenders more wine knowledge. Food was outstanding. Ambience was gorgeous.

We decided to sit outside since it was a beautiful evening. However, we had no idea that the service would end up being below par! Too many issues overall so I’ll stay with the major failures. we ordered a decent bottle of wine which unfortunately arrived warm. The food achieved a dubious honor status of having all the flavors extracted. One of the servers asked us if we would like to have pepper and I requested pepper and salt, but of course it never arrived and we had to request it three more times trying to catch one of the servers attention. No actual cracked black pepper but food court pepper and salt dispensers instead. No one bothered to come and ask us if the food was OK and after we were done eating, we sat in front of our empty plates for 25 minutes! The restaurant was not busy at all being a Sunday night. This restaurant used to be our go to place for the last couple of years whenever we visit Calgary however… I don’t think I will ever go back there again knowing how impersonal guests are treated. I’m not at jerk so I tipped the waitress a US 20% because I don’t believe it is her mistake, but the owners and managers who are not capable of training their staff appropriately

I had a truly wonderful experience here on a Saturday evening! Our dinner was exsquisite! We got the 12oz sirloin and the pork tenderloin which were a stellar meal that had a wonderful variety of flavors! The fried Mac & cheese as a starter was so delicious! Our server was great and very kind, we will definitely be dining here again!
