    Very disappointed with everything at the restaurant. The service wasn't great at all, took quite a while for ever aspect of the evening. To take orders, to get drinks etc. it felt like they didn't have enough staff working. Also, the drinks and food were very sub par. No garnishes in any drinks etc. A drink that is $15 to $20 each should be better than what I can make at home. The food was also not good. My wife had a $50 steak and the best part of her meal was the mashed potatoes. Our bill was over $200 (for two people). For that I expect a lot more. I do not recommend this place at all.

    Excellent food the smash burger and steak frites were amazing!!! Took a really long time to get cocktails but were short staffed. Said they didn’t expect so many people on Sunday but it is Stampede season. Waitress was slow but told is she had been there for 8 hours and was supposed to be off 3 hours ago. We forgave her. Definitely going back if in Calgary again. Best food in town in my opinion

    Steak was overcooked and not very flavourful, brussels were over charred, burger was mediocre. Truffle fries were amazing!! Fried Mac & cheese was amazing!! Server was good but food was slow and the place was empty. It’s a shame because the restaurant itself is absolutely stunning.

    On the Monday night that we dined, the restaurant featured half price for purchase of a bottle of wine. When we were seated we discovered it was half price for a limited selection of featured wine. The bottle we chose was unavailable. There was not a similar bottle of wine on the featured wine list, so we were offered a similar wine from the main wine list. But, at a price point equivalent to half the price of the original bottle we chose from the select wine list. We asked if we could have a similar bottle from the main list at the same price point that we had originally chosen from the select wine list and asked if they would honor the 50% discount. That was not possible. We spoke with two managers regarding our request both refused to accommodate our ask. We all agreed that our two courses and steak dinners were excellent but the wine service seemed way too unrelenting. Not sure if this was a liquor law limitation or not. If it was, then tell us. We would totally understand. For now we are left scratching our head on what we thought was a reasonable request to accommodate the restaurant’s advertising for half off bottles of wine. .

    Amazing dining, sadly there was a hockey game so the other patrons were very loud. It was our 1 year anniversary and our waitress was lovely.

    Good food, great service. Shame about the really loud busker outside. Outwith the control of the Guild, however it diminished the experience.
