Our vision for The Grumpy Rabbit is to serve both Lonoke residents as well as people from surrounding communities and visitors passing through town. We want Lonoke to thrive and be prosperous and believe that leading by example and running a successful business will attract others to the area and inspire similar investment. Our hope for The Grumpy Rabbit is that as an anchor for revitalization, it will become a central location that draws foot traffic to historic downtown Lonoke. Additionally, as we employ both full-time and part-time staff, we are excited to bring new families to Lonoke, and know they will love the area as much as we do!

First time diners, will be back. Lovely decor, attentive staff and great menu options. Our group of 3 decided to share the 2 dinner specials. Blackened salmon with rice pilaf and corn salsa and a coffee cured steak with mashed potatoes and broccolini. It was all wonderful. We passed on dessert as we were full but those options sounded great also. We’re certainly going to come back. It was about a 45 minute drive from west Little Rock.

We had collards, black eye pea hummus, BLT and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. Everything was fresh. Portions were very generous. The hummus was a unique spin on hummus and was super yummy. Did have a bit of a kick. But I loved it. Service was excellent. All the small GR touches were adorable!! Will be back. And bring our Grumpy (and hungry) friends!!!

If you’re traveling I40 Memphis to Little Rock ….. We stopped twice and enjoyed dinner both times they have unique items on the menu and everything is delicious. Prices are fair! People are friendly and they take reservations so no wait! Decor is informal and everybody seems to like it that way.

Food is amazing, service fantastic! It can be a little pricey depending on what you get but it’s definitely worth it!

Super quaint, quiet place with history. Fun experience being from out of town trying to find a non chain local restaurant. This place fit the bill. I only gave 4 stars because I got the snapper which was the most expensive, and the sauce was good but it tasted very fishy. Maybe just not what I expected. My husband had the chicken Parmesan, and it was excellent. The Brussel sprouts were amazing and the carrot cake, so overall very good, just not the fish. Service was excellent and very friendly.

Our book club met at the restaurant on a Friday night at 6:00. We had reservations and were seated quickly. The restaurant was not as busy as we anticipated but filled up before we left. Our waiter was excellent, informing us of special menu items and giving suggestions when asked. He was very attentive even while running the bar. Our drinks (Bloody Mary's and Blackberry Margarita) were strong but tasty. The blackeyed pea hummus was very goof and the salads and entrées were good as well. One friend had a burger that she said was excellent. Another has the roast beef sandwich which was large and hit the spot. Two of us ordered the gouda Mac with chicken which was good but very rich. I would've appreciated some additional seasoning or flavors in the dish but overall we liked it. We ended the meal by splitting a slice of the carrot cake which was top notch.
