Bold flavors. California-inspired cuisine. The Grove at Copia is the signature restaurant from The Culinary Institute of America right in the heart of downtown Napa. The menu is inspired by the bounty of our gardens. The vibe is relaxed, whether you’re here for a special occasion dining experience or a casual meal out.

Open Wednesday–Saturday, 5–9 p.m. and Sunday 5–7 p.m. for Dinner.

Weekend Brunch available Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

    For large parties, we offer a Family Style meal for $90 per person. The menu is presented on shareable plates so that all guests have the opportunity to try all dishes. Due to the highly seasonal nature of our cuisine, some ingredients do change, but a recent SAMPLE menu includes: STARTERS: House made Focaccia Bread, Burrata with seasonal vegetables, Mixed garden salad from the COPIA gardens MAINS:Sauteed Lion's Mane mushroom with Seasonal Vegetables and Truffled Porcini Jus (Vegan), Rockfish with Manila clams, seasonal vegetables, lemon buerre monte, chive oil, and crispy guanciale, akaushi Cote de Boeuf with garlic butter and braised Cipollini SIDE: Cicerchia Bean Puree with Tuscan Kale and fennel Oil DESSERT: Seasonal Tiramisu

    Food was good but portion was pretty small. It worked but a bit silly looking on the plate. In ordered ricotta eggs with fruit salad and looked like they ran out of ingredients. P

    We enjoyed a delicious Brunch in the outdoor Grove under Olive trees. Our server, Delia, made excellent recommendations for the vegan diners in our party. We saw a chef gathering herbs and vegetables from the garden. After Brunch, we explored the extensive kitchen garden and citrus orchard—a fabulous way to enjoy time with friends.

    I booked a table for four based on the online reviews. This place was just absolutely amazing. The food was delicious, but the customer service completely made this place the absolute most perfect experience. Collin was just so amiable, and MADE our experience. Afterwards we walked to the museum on the second floor and admired the history of kitchen tools and equipment. Just an amazing experience. Can not wait to return!

    We were a party of 4 celebrating a birthday . The birthday girl was treated to a glass of champagne. Service was wonderful! Food was delicious. However the Lion’s Mane mushroom dish was unattractive and was not appealing. The experience was wonderful!

    What a wonderful experience we had at The Grove! The food was outstanding. We sat at the counter to watch the chef’s make each dish we ordered. We even watched them make the tortellini fresh!! A culinary delight. Friendly staff.

    From the moment we stepped into CIA’s The Grove at Copia, it was clear this was no ordinary dining experience. The atmosphere perfectly blended elegance and warmth, with soft lighting, a collection of art and Napa Valley history, and an attentive yet unobtrusive staff. The menu, a masterpiece of seasonal ingredients, offered an array of innovative dishes that reflected both classic techniques and modern creativity. For Starter, we began with the Little Gems & Chicories and Belfiore Burrata salads, both perfectly balanced—delicate, yet playfully inviting. Next, for the Pastas, we chose Rigatoni Carbonara and Potato, Spelt, and Flax “Egg” Gnocchi, both plates cleverly created by brilliant chefs! The highlight of the meal was our Mains - Chilipepper Rockfish and the Polpette (Pork and Beef Meatballs), everything cooked to absolute perfection with fresh, local ingredients and sauces that were able to bring a new level of enjoyment to a fine dining experience, all while complementing the local ingredients natural flavors beautifully. Service at The Grove at Copia was impeccable. Our server, with her extensive knowledge of both the menu and ingredients, guided us through each course with enthusiasm and expertise. Each dish arrived at the ideal temperature, presented with artistic flair, and the meal's pacing felt just right—no rush, but never a lull. Dessert was a revelation: a light but indulgent Almond Milk Gelato, a sweet Strawberry Tiramisu, and a surprisingly delightful Garden Grape Pavlova (compliments of the Pastry Chef). Dining here is more than just a meal; it’s an experience that delights the senses and redefines fine dining. We enjoyed meeting and talking with the sous and pastry chefs – our wonderful pairing for a phenomenal meal! We left feeling thoroughly pampered and deeply satisfied, eagerly anticipating our next visit.
