Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England).
Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal.
The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.
The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience.
The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. As well as the wine list developed by Margriet, who is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, there is also a wide range of international beers.

Love love love. Definitely worth the trip from London. We visited on a Saturday night, and had a lovely long dinner celebrating my husband's birthday. Food was fantastic but service was even better. Super friendly and informal but perfect standards and quality. We sat at a table in the bar area as we came with our little dog who was very welcomed. The plus side of where we were seated was our view of the bustling kitchen and the games in the corner which we made use of as we absorbed each course. We were impressed with the extensive non-alcoholic drink options, though we did love the matching wines for our courses. Hope to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Greyhound. One comment though, not all dishes' ingredients are fully described so if you are in any doubt, do ask and wait patiently for a reply. The Gordal olives on the menu supposedly came in lemon oil and herbs but most definitely contained chilli. I avoid anything that contains this ingredient so was disappointed to find that this had been added. Please stay true to your menu for what was a lovely dining experience.

Friendly and attentive staff add to exquisite food in this top quality restaurant. The Greyhound has a relaxed atmosphere and is a great venue for a relaxed fine dining experience.

Amazing establishment, amazing food! Staff are 10/10 and so accommodating. Dan and the team can not do enough. Strongly recommended.

Try the agnolotti with truffle it was fab. Chicken, a new addition, also excellent. Yorkshire soufflé- OMG!

There just might be an equally fantastic dining experience elsewhere but there can be nowhere better than that you experience at The Greyhound. With flavoursome, innovative and interesting food, beautifully cooked and presented, an impressive wine list, a level of service to behold and a classy but cosy, environment, it is a gastronomic Utopia. No wonder it was crowned last September as the AA`s Best Restaurant in England 2024.
