Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.
Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards.
The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace.
The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available.
The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

Best Restaurant in England - can’t be sure because we haven’t tried them all but best restaurant we’ve experienced !!!

A fantastic dining experience, very kind, attentive and friendly staff. They all really helped us feel welcomed and aided towards making our anniversary feel extra special with kind gifts, words and a tour of the premises. Dan and his wife have really placed themselves firmly on the map in Beaconsfield as this is a must visit dining experience. Food was delicious and really well orchestrated; great drinks and a very calming environment; good space between tables helped to feel that it was a night for just us rather than being shoehorned in. We will certainly revisit in the future.

Such a special experience- the hospitality, service and food outstanding! All the fine touches between courses is very unique and makes you feel special! A great night out!

Dan & Becky the young & charming owners of The Greyhound, exude positivity & passion which is contagious & endorsed by their staff who exude genuine warmth & a real buzz of excitement to be representing Dan & Becky. Lauren served us & ensured my birthday event was special & forever memorable for all the right reasons. From arrival to departure, our experience was 10/10 The birthday card signed by all the staff & my lil birthday cake 🎂 was a simple but incredibly considerate gesture. The meticulous attention to EVERY DETAIL in this WONDERFUL establishment is all too apparent. I so look forward to my return…… x Andrea x

A warm greeting by two members of staff who were helpful as it was raining helping with wet things Very nice table and the staff were exceptional food was as anticipated excellent and all the little extras that make the evening very enjoyable. For the first time having chosen a wine of a particular year I was advised they did not have that your but a different year and would I like to change my choice, that is a first normally you are never told of the different year, very impressed and very pleased Will definatly return

Wonderful food and service. The added extras in between meals was a lovely surprise and certainly put a smile on our faces. Not a negative at all but we would have liked to have seen a few more options on the menu but wouldn't stop us from returning.
