We had a lovely meal at The Greyhound Inn last night, the food was wonderful and the team were charming. Initially the service was not quite what I expected but on reflection, this was more about my expectations than reality. The Greyhound presents itself as a country inn with excellent food, not as a restaurant. On that basis, the place is outstanding.

Wonderful place to spend a Saturday afternoon. They were down a member of staff so things took a bit longer than they would normally have done but this did not take away the enjoyment of the setting, food, friendly landlord and staff. Still a proper pub with people dropping in for drinks in the garden and at the bar and the food was absolutely outstanding. Set in a beautiful quiet village. Nothing not to like.

The attentiveness of the staff and food/drink experience were fantastic - we had a very leisurely Sunday lunch with friends. We will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Excellent food prepared in an almost classical way, deserves its plaudits. Staff were very aattentive but not to intrusive. Loved it will be back.

The food was excellent, some of the best I have had. The service was a little slow with a new starter who was not able to answer specific questions but quickly asked for help. Parking (at 7.00 pm) was difficult. There is not enough car parking space in the car park and cars were left on a narrow lane.

Such a lovely evening… food was thought about, beautifully prepared and just plain delicious. Staff were lovely as well.

Wonderful food and efficient, friendly service. The Basque cheesecake was divine and highly rated by one of our guests from the Basque Region!
