Our first time, after many recomendations. All very good but we were a little surprised at the presence, and level, of the 'canned' music. Not really necessary in this sort of setting.

Friendly attentive and welcoming service. We shared a very tasty starter of lamb sausage with sheep’s cheese and fennel with rye sourdough followed by the sharing platter of really juicy tender smoked bbq chicken. The bay & honey ice cream was also a triumph. Yum.

A great evening. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Between us we had the tomato tart and the octopus starters which we all enjoyed and the bread and butter beforehand was great too. Main courses were pork chop, lamb and fish which were all very tasty. The wine and desserts were enjoyed too.

Hearty, tasty, meaty, fatty in all the right ways. Love the food here. The Suffolk ham, the pork chop cooked just right, with peaches, perfectly cooked and softening up in all the juices. Also I have been getting their cheese course, whatever it is, because they keep it perfectly, serving it up at maximum ripeness and optimum temperature. The biscuits and honeycomb with the cheese last night were ace, the sort of twist you get in smart Melbourne and Sydney restaurants, which are some of the best in the world. The greyhound is a big hitter.

Amazing food service and value. Had Smoked eel to start Pork and Sea bass as main all perfect.

We went to the greyhound with some friends for lunch. The whole experience was excellent. We had some snacks to start, the octopus in almond sauce was amazing, as were the cod gougeres, I would also recommend the oysters with pickled gooseberries. We all had the sharing platter of wood roasted chicken that had been cooked on the bbq. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The chef Adam changes the menu every week, and as the ingredients are seasonal comes up with some delicious dishes. A beautiful place we would highly recommend .

I enjoy cooking at home so when I eat out it has to be interesting and really tasty. The visit to The Greyhound was exciting as it fulfilled my expectations. Parking was easy but probably best tobook a table and eat early even during the week and at lunchtime. The menu does change regularly so I will definitely be going again and recommending it to family and friends.

Fabulous restaurent. Adam the chef greets you warmly too. The food is outstanding, not fussy and very delicious. The chicken dish was very tasty cooked on the bbq. Highly recommend.
