Previously known as BBQWhiskyBeer back in our pop-up days, we have continued to cook using smokers, a charcoal oven and over fire on a grill. The menu takes influence from barbecue all over the world, smoking, roasting, charring and grilling, inspired by the smoked meats of great American pit masters; but cooked with a Modern British touch.

Alongside the barbecue we are renowned for our incredible burgers - particularly our Burger of the Month (BOTM) which, as you can guess, changes every month. We also offer vegetarian and vegan options for our barbecue and burgers, and have incredible value mid-week offers to tempt you out on a Monday night!

We booked Saturday evening dinner for four after seeing @GaryEats review of The Grey Horse on YouTube. Service was friendly but it did take a bit long for drinks to come. The Jacob's ladder ribs were excellent - really well cooked, soft and tasty, burger was also flavoursome and well filled. Pork ribs had a tough bite but were flavoursome and coleslaw was excellent. The triple cheese macaroni was unfortunately a bit bland. Portions were generous. Would definitely recommend.

We've eaten here several times and the food has always been great. We had family staying who were hankering after somewhere 'meaty'' so we figured this would be the best place to take them and cabbed it over from SW14. Disappointingly, for some reason, last night's meal was not a patch on previous ones. The rack of ribs was dry, and all the other meat dishes lacked flavour. By far the best course was the cauliflower starter! Not what we were expecting, tbh. Service was excellent, throughout, and we were comped some drinks because the meal was just average. Meal still came in at around £45 a head. So, ok, but based on last night's experience, not worth heading back to.

The food was outstanding! Me and a friend shared the Ribs Combo with additional side dishes. The beef rib was outrageously good! Will definitely be back again!

This place strangely charges extra for a mandatory side. It's not expensive, and I don't mind paying £4 more. It's about the principle – a burger should come with a side (chips/salad) in a restaurant/pub environment.
