Come and enjoy a meal at The Grange, Saunderton in the heart of the Chiltern Hills

We are excited to welcome you for a simple à la carte menu bursting with fresh, seasonal ingredients. So, take a deep breath and unwind at The Grange Restaurant.

Book your table inside or outside on our terrace or courtyard with freshly-prepared breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea available every day from 9am to 4pm.

We want all our customers to arrive feeling welcome and safe, and leave feeling happy, knowing that every visit supports our life-changing charity work at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People - helping deaf people leave loneliness behind.

The Grange is AA Covid-Confident Accredited, still taking a sensible approach to keep all our customers, volunteers and staff safe. Please note, we take payment only for food and drink during your order, before you are served. We look forward to welcoming you - and, of course, dogs are welcome too!

Free parking in our graveled car park. Priority & Accessible parking is available at the top of the drive near the Little Grange Field for those with mobility issues, with access to the tarmac path. Further Blue Badge parking is available in the main car park. Dogs must not be left in cars, and are welcome on a short lead in The Grange.

Booked afternoon tea for my daughter in laws birthday. Gorgeous setting and delicious afternoon tea professionally served in an interesting way. Took my four year grandson too who thought it great fun. Different little desserts and cakes. My only question to detail were the scones. Didn’t look like scones and were a little heavy and dense. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again and recommend the gorgeous setting.

Was very impressed with the restaurant. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We all had a roast dinner which was freshly cooked and can honestly say this was one of the best roast dinners I have had when eating out for a very long time. You can also take your dog with you and they have a field for them to run around. Will definitely be returning.

The staff are very friendly, efficient and welcoming. My only criticism is we could have had extra cream and jam as the scones were huge.

Very good experience good service with a smile sat outside was really nice and garden kept immaculate. The food was value for money the only criticism would be we had a breakfast and the plate was too small to hold the amount of food and the knives were blunt therefore could not cut food properly. Overall l would recommend the Grange and will be visiting again but maybe take own knives

Food was lovely and plenty of it. The gluten free meal in particular was excellent with a good variety of sandwiches and especially cakes. It was very quiet but we had missed the lunch time rush. Staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome. We were not rushed and could take our time.

First visit with my mum.whonwears bi-lateral cochlear implants and the sound clouds really made a difference. We were able to chat easily as she could hear me. The food and service was great and we will be returning a the Tuesday tour

We sat outside admiring the beautiful garden and had a lovely lunch. The food is fantastic and the staff very welcoming. I can highly recommend especially if you have a dog.
