We sat at the bar; service was kind and attentive. Food was excellent! It was so so dark I could barely see my food (and we were close to kitchen (light). I asked for a candle votive, which was on tables to see, but was told they are not allowed at bar.

Never disappoints! The staff is what makes this restaurant a wonderful experience. From the kitchen staff who takes pride in putting out amazing food to the bartender who is engaging and attentive. The only criticism I have is on the dessert. While the strawberry shortcake is delicious it is time to move into fall and winter. Maybe a sticky toffee pudding, something pumpkin or Appel or dare I say chocolate. Also 2 choices would be a nice addition.

Once again the Grand Tavern did not disappoint. By far the best burger. The short rib pasta was delicious as was the chicken. Erin was awesome and the special drink was great. If you haven’t been here yet it is a must go.
