Afternoon Tea, a decades-long tradition at The Brown Palace, is set amid the historic grandeur of the Atrium Lobby serenaded by a melodic piano. Guests enjoy a pot of properly brewed English tea accompanied by scones served with Devonshire cream and preserves, savory tea sandwiches, and a delightful array of classic tea pastries.

$10.00 per person for Vegan and / or Gluten- Free. Parties of five or more, please choose a maximum of three teas. Complimentary second plate of sandwiches included. Twenty percent gratuity will be added for parties of five or more. We will not accept more than three credit cards per party, and the check will be split evenly.

Lovely server, Hiwat did an excellent job and very attentive to my needs and other customers from what I observed. I love the food and the atmosphere was very relaxing with piano player, Jack playing soothing tunes. The price was very reasonable for a mini bottle of champagne (which I got the #Moetmoment package).

My daughter and I love Afternoon Tea. The last Afternoon Tea we went to was at the Empress in Victoria which is fabulous. The afternoon tea at The Grand Atrium at the Brown Palace was absolutely wonderful, it was exactly what we were hoping for. The staff was courteous, kind and attentive. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. The quality of the tea and items served were excellent. We will return.

Our servers worked hard to keep us with everything we needed, they made an extra effort to celebrate the birthday with a cupcake!

We had a lovely Lovely time, though the tables for two were far too close. We were eager to leave so we didn't have to constantly hear the other's conversation while we're trying to have our own. They weren't even loud, just right next to us as if we were sharing a table. The food was fine and service was great! Beautiful venue!

This was the third time I’ve been to afternoon tea. The waitress Hiwat was wonderful! I love the piano music and the atmosphere. The tea selection is extensive and my favorite was the egg salad sandwich.

I told them it was my best friend’s birthday and asked if they could do something special. I asked if I can bring a birthday cake in they said no due to health code regulations I was like okay but are you able to do something special at least for her they said yes. Nothing was done not only that they went up to her after giving someone a cake with candle and said she was next ruining the surprise that never came. The tea was amazing as always as well as the snacks but it wasn’t worth going to at all. I wanted to make her feel special but it wasn’t worth a bit of a disaster.
