Granary Square Brasserie, a new restaurant brand from the team behind the Ivy Collection.

The brasserie buzz through breakfast, morning coffee, lunch and cream teas in the afternoon. Throughout the day the lounge area will be perfect to relax with a drink or for informal meetings with luxurious vintage leather chairs and low brass tables. As the sun sets and we get ready for dinner, the DJ set will begin, and cocktails will flow.

The restaurant is beautiful with cut glass pendant lights, banquettes upholstered in silk and velvet and exotic kilim rugs. The striking central bar, located in the heart of the room, is perfect to survey the scene and enjoy an aperitif cocktail.

    Food was not all that and was dry. Service was also slow and ruined the experience. Only nice thing was the spot, nice outdoor area but that’s about it.

    Lovely lunch with friends. The £19.17 menu was good value and delicious, and we lingered on afterwards with espresso martinis. Waiter was a bit dour but service was fine & atmosphere very civilised. I'll go back.

    This is the 2nd brunch I visited for - both at 11am and outside, first a Saturday - second Thursday- sadly both times the food took a very long time to arrive ( only Eggs avocado - eggs benedict last time) so that it was cold - also we waited for at least 15+ mins to get a drink after our order - The staff were very efficient so I don't where the delay was - it was nice - but cold.... I think that the emphasis tends to go towards the more lucrative lunch menu at that time so the brunch orders get behind...?

    I've had better airline meals! Went for the set menu and enjoyed the halloumi starter, but the main course of cottage pie was absolutely tiny and came with nothing so had to order two lots of veg to turn it from a kiddie to grown-up meal. Worst of all, all the food was lukewarm. The £9.50 glass of white wine wasn't cold enough and was not great so I downgraded to the £8.50 glass of wine which was better. Really disappointing evening that cost £112 for two. Staff lovely but that's all I can that's positive besides the 7/10 starter.
