Granary Square Brasserie, a new restaurant brand from the team behind the Ivy Collection.

The brasserie buzz through breakfast, morning coffee, lunch and cream teas in the afternoon. Throughout the day the lounge area will be perfect to relax with a drink or for informal meetings with luxurious vintage leather chairs and low brass tables. As the sun sets and we get ready for dinner, the DJ set will begin, and cocktails will flow.

The restaurant is beautiful with cut glass pendant lights, banquettes upholstered in silk and velvet and exotic kilim rugs. The striking central bar, located in the heart of the room, is perfect to survey the scene and enjoy an aperitif cocktail.

After we were seated at our table took a long time for anyone to come to us to take our order. Food arrived like warm and drinks arrived after our food it took a long time. We were then asked if we would like to see desert menu we said yes but although they gave us the menu never returned to see if we wanted anything only to say we had to be off our table within 15 minutes which I found outrageous considering how terrible and slow the service had been. We ordered coffees and were then approached by the manager saying we needed to be off our table. I would not return to this restaurant as it was mediocre at best and staff were not very friendly either.

Really really bad night for service and perhaps the kitchen the night we were there, unfortunately. We were a table of three. Above average food and it came out hot, but we ordered one appetizer for the table and entrees, no dessert, and it took two hours with a long time in between ordering and courses, plus twice people came to our table to deliver food that wasn't ours. The servers were outwardly and obviously confused with each other and were discussing these issues out in the dining room at an empty table right next to us. They had no idea what was going on the whole time we were there and were running around with food that they didn't know where to serve it to. They even admitted it was crazy and they were not serving well -- maybe they're in training as a crew, maybe just an off night. Another example: no one came back to our table for two hours to serve the remainder of the wine in the one bottle we bought (but did tell us not to pour it ourselves at first since "that was their job" -- they were nice about that point but didn't ever come back to serve it). At the end of the meal, our primary server ended their shift and left to go home and we got a new server but no one told us and he was also confused and. On the plus side, the restaurant was extremely beautiful and the drinks were solid -- I'd recommend hanging at the bar for cocktails and ambiance (loud and vibrant, not chill -- depends on your mood!) but until their service game tightens up, you may want to think twice about investing in a full dinner service.

I only reserved the table 2 hrs prior to visit and requested indoors. I was greeted on arrival and once booking confirmed was shown to our indior table for 2. The service staff were fab. Samia looked after us, and took our order promptly. The drinks arrived, shortly followed by the food which was hot & delicious. Can def recommend the gourmet burgers! Just enough room for a chocolate bombe pudding. Samia was attentive throughout without being intrusive. She was very professional and smiley- thank you, my son and I thoroughly annoyed our meal.

Food was not all that and was dry. Service was also slow and ruined the experience. Only nice thing was the spot, nice outdoor area but that’s about it.

Really enjoyed the ambience and the dinner. Food is reasonably priced, and they have a good wine selection. Service was 👌🏽. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely lunch with friends. The £19.17 menu was good value and delicious, and we lingered on afterwards with espresso martinis. Waiter was a bit dour but service was fine & atmosphere very civilised. I'll go back.

This is the 2nd brunch I visited for - both at 11am and outside, first a Saturday - second Thursday- sadly both times the food took a very long time to arrive ( only Eggs avocado - eggs benedict last time) so that it was cold - also we waited for at least 15+ mins to get a drink after our order - The staff were very efficient so I don't where the delay was - it was nice - but cold.... I think that the emphasis tends to go towards the more lucrative lunch menu at that time so the brunch orders get behind...?
