Located across the street from Historic Rocky Mountain College on Poly Drive, The Granary has been a landmark restaurant in Billings, MT for nearly 50 years! Originally built in 1935, the Granary served as the milling department for Billings Polytechnic Institute until World War II when they closed the doors.

The recent remodel in 2022 breathes new life into a historic building. Accents of rough cut timbers and cold rolled steel run throughout the Dining room and Bar giving the building a modern feel while keeping the spirit of Billings History alive.

The music didn't fit the atmoshpere. I would rather different music on the dinning side than the bar music. Listening to pop music while dressed up eating a $300 meal doesn't make sense. The Charcuterie isn't the best but it's okay.

Honestly didn’t eat or drink anything we left right away because it wasn’t our kind of place I mean like the people who eat there aren’t our kind of people no offense and it smelt horrible. If you’re rich and stuck up enjoy!!

Two different nights and two very different experiences. I wrote a review for the first night, which had great service and delicious food. The second night, it took three hours to get through dinner because the waitress kept disappearing. I ate the poke bowl which had rice that wasn’t cooked completely. The visit prior, I had the shrimp and grits, which was exceptional! I’ve been here several times and service is very inconsistent. Overall, I will still give this place a chance, I just wish they had better training for their wait staff, and more staff in general so it doesn’t take three hours to get through dinner. Many disgruntled patrons last night.

Great service from Ashley. Beautiful restaurant. Delicious beet salad & gyros sandwich. Glad we stopped on our way to Bozeman.

Our server was very pleasant. Attentive without being intrusive. Three women and we all had the poke bowl because it was delicious the last time we were there. We all loved it.
