Perfect for walkers, cyclists and families, the Grain Store is the ideal location to relax and refuel. Open daily with a delicious breakfast, lunch and cake menu to suit all appetites.

The Restaurant is open every Friday and Saturday evening for à la carte dining. The chefs have curated a delicious seasonal menu showcasing their own pasture-fed Lincoln Red beef, game and Kitchen Garden produce from the Doddington Estate along with the finest locally sourced and British ingredients.

Enjoy their selection of teas and coffee, expertly prepared by their Stokes trained baristas and treat yourself to delicious homemade cake.

At the bar, you’ll find an alluring range of cocktails and mocktails.

Beautiful place to eat and drink. Very tasteful decor. Staff are delightful. Friendly, efficient, professional and smiley! Food was good. Great coffee.

My third time dining in this restaurant upstairs for the Sunday lunch. It's warm/stuffy upstairs and they could do with some sort of air con or open the windows. The Maitre d thought, for some reason it was OK to act the joker. Joyfully telling us that several of the items on the menu were no longer available and offering, for our vegetarian guest a "curry he'd personally made himself". When I asked him the type of curry, he just replied "vegetarian". The food arrived and all was good except within the seasonal vegetables were completely uncooked runner beans. Very unappetising. We were asked three times if our food was OK and each time I said yes, all good except the raw runner beans. I was assured this message would be passed to the chef. There was plenty of food so I didn't accept the offer to replace the uncooked beans but appreciated the offer from the very pleasant female waitress. I'll go again, but if the same Maitre 'd is on duty, it'll be the last time unless he's honed his skills to a more professional approach rather than act like he's hosting a children's party. He needs to take lessons from the waiting staff - much more professional and friendly without a silliness that was irritating.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent dining experience with us. We sincerely apologise for the discomfort caused by the warm environment upstairs. We are currently exploring options to improve ventilation. We regret that our Maître d’s attempt at humour was not well received and that the vegetarian curry offered was not adequately described. Your comments about the uncooked runner beans have been noted and we will ensure this feedback is passed to our chef to prevent such issues in the future. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the service from our waitress and the overall quality of the food. We value your patronage and hope to provide a more professional and enjoyable experience on your next visit. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Service was excellent the waitress was most attentive and pleasant. Food choice was very good and all meals served were top class. Will be returning to try the evening menu in the near future

A lovely spacious softly lit dining area with views out to farmland. Attentive waiting staff and well presented delicious food. We liked it a lot.
