Perfect for walkers, cyclists and families, the Grain Store is the ideal location to relax and refuel. Open daily with a delicious breakfast, lunch and cake menu to suit all appetites.

The Restaurant is open every Friday and Saturday evening for à la carte dining. The chefs have curated a delicious seasonal menu showcasing their own pasture-fed Lincoln Red beef, game and Kitchen Garden produce from the Doddington Estate along with the finest locally sourced and British ingredients.

Enjoy their selection of teas and coffee, expertly prepared by their Stokes trained baristas and treat yourself to delicious homemade cake.

At the bar, you’ll find an alluring range of cocktails and mocktails.

Second time visiting and unfortunately not quite up to standard as our first visit. We had to send 3 pieces of cutelry back for being dirty. We waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive and then had to send it back as the beef was extremely underdone. It was swopped quickly and in all fairness it was delicious in the end. Also had to wait quite a while between asking for the bill and it arriving. Just disappointing as our first visit was exceptional.

A lovely place to eat the service was good the food was really good and the cost was better than we expected we will definitely be back

Highly recommend anyone to experience the Grainstore really enjoyed the Christmas menu especially the venison myself and the turkey my partner had,well done to all the staff, you certainly deserve the awards you received earlier in the month thank you

Great service from waitresses Very pleasant environment. Unfortunately the food was cold. All veg cold. Cottage pie very dry. Wasn’t served with a gravy.

We enjoyed an excellent lunch of cottage pie and Doddington burger. Both dishes were accompanied by generous portions of kitchen garden vegetables/salad and were delicious. Glasses of Sangiovese were a very good match for the food. Too full to have a dessert, we opted for a coffee and mince pie. It is well worth reserving a table in the restaurant. Although there is inevitably some noise from the cafe below, this was not intrusive. Views of the lake and beyond to open countryside provide a very pleasant backdrop to any meal. Service was both friendly and efficient.

A smart, but relaxed venue. The Roast Beef was incredible, melt in the mouth, served with a decent amount of veg and a delicious gravy. Possibly the best restaurant roast dinner I've ever had! My wife enjoyed a vegetarian risotto, also cooked perfectly, followed by a simply fabulous Treacle tart. We will definitely be revisiting!

Excellent Sunday lunch. The meat and vegetables were perfectly cooked and generous portions. Friendly, efficient service. Tables were widely spaced in attractive dining room.
