A lovely way to spend an afternoon with your friends. Food was delicious, also good that tarts and good quality sausage rolls were on offer too. Cakes lovely to look and and all good quality fresh cream. Yum yum

Great selection of savouries and cakes and staff were lovely. Only downside was we had to seek out someone to order drinks more than once, but once we asked we were dealt with quickly .

Whilst the hotel is beautiful and there was a great selection of yummy savoury snacks and pretty dainty little pastries, tarts & sponges the room was absolutely freezing and this was clearly a known problem as there was small mini heaters placed throughout the restaurant. This cold drafty room unfortunately spoilt the pretty relaxing afternoon we had hoped for.

Overall very poor experience. Staff appeared irritated by the numbers of people presenting for afternoon tea. Kept getting hearded into another room by bar staff when we wanted a drink before the tea. Staff incorrectly anticipating our requests by shouting afternoon tea in the other entrance before we even spoke. When we eventually went for our tea it was like a noisy breakfast buffet. While food was ok the experience was let down by poor execution. The room was chilly, nose level high. The service so poor with staff taking tea order and then reappearing 10 mins later with no order and introducing themselves again. Embarrassing I received this voucher as a gift and I wish the giver had saved their money.

Food was fantastic what an incredible range of savour and sweet…. Service was ok Felt it was a bit rushed and kept trying to get us to leave at 330. But overall it was fantastic

We had a lovely afternoon tea today. All food very good . Only complaint was where we were seated. We were in a tight corner and it was a bit dull and noisy. Would definitely come back if it was possible to request a different table.

Staff really nice and helpfull. The sandwich’s looked appealing but the fillings were very sparse the cakes looked lovely but unfortunately were mainly cream based if you didn’t like cream you were limited,they scones with jam and cream which were very nice.

Service was dreadful, left waiting to order tea&coffee etc. Had to go to bar. Asked, few times to clear our table. 2 very small Proseccos with voucher. Sconces cheap and dry. Jam butter. Sandwiches were lovely. Been previously and all great. This was a special occasion and we weren’t impressed
