Staff was great. Truly great. The rooms are a little loud when multiple tables are set. The outside area looked very nice. The appetizers and salads were extremely good. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the burger with fries. The shrimp and grits were OK at best. We only ate half of the burgers. The fries were on point.

Very disappointing - the outdoor “Winterfest” seating was a joke. It was a cheap cover that smelled like plastic. Food was just ok and overpriced. Food was late coming out of the kitchen and all three of our dinners came out at different times. Staff was apologetic but couldn’t save the night. Do not recommend.

We sat in the Winterfest tent, which was lacking in ambiance. I feel like a bit more could be done to make it a more festive experience.

We went to celebrate my husbands birthday. Service was very poor. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table along with waters. It took over 20min for water to be brought to the table. My husband ordered the trout, that arrived cold and slimy. The manager did have this recooked & competed. The remake was delicious. We sat outdoors in the heated outdoor seating. However, several of the heaters were not working. The ambulance was nice.

The winter menu is AMAZING. We had the pasta, steak, braised cabbage and beef tartar. Each perfectly decadent and delicious.

The service was very fast and helpful. We quickly got all of our drinks, appetizers, and main dishes. The waitress was very polite and answered all the questions we had about the menu with ease and clarity. The food was delicious. We ordered the goopy burger and maltagliati. Both of which were good portion sizes for the price and had great flavor.

Service was slow to start. We sat for 10 minutes before being greeted. Menu was interesting but most items seemed overpriced. We had the rice balls (which were great) and I had a green salad with grilled chicken on it. It was overdressed and way too large a portion for an entree. With the chicken it was a $24 salad, would have easily fed two people, couldn’t take leftovers because wasn’t going directly home after dinner.

We had such an incredible experience at The Goodyear House! The homey ambiance made for the perfect 21st birthday dinner. Bonus points for the a la carte style dining :)

Just not a fit for us, great salads that are very large but otherwise very limited offerings for my vegetarian wife. I had the trout that was overwhelmed by the Asian sauce.
