Our food is a reflection of the melting pot of cultures that has gentrified the Queen West neighbourhood in Toronto. The menu has been designed for guests to share plates, in an effort to create a convivial and social dining experience.

Our Wood-Fire Pizzas are a cross between Roma and Neapolitan styles; cooked in a wood-burning M.A.M pizza oven imported from Italy. It yields a crust that is thin but sturdy. Wood-fire capabilities are critical for our menu as the flavour imparted on the food is exceptional and unique.

Our cocktails are equally thought out as our food. Our bartenders serve up a no-nonsense cocktail program featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients that are all made in house.

Our server seemed a bit disorganized maybe they were new. Food expensive for the quality. Croissant (ham and cheese sandwiches) was greasy. Fluffy scrambled eggs watery. We felt it was really poor service for us to have to pay for refills on coffee for a brunch. No restaurants we go to do this. Nickel & dining customers. Not a good look.. The design and ambience of restaurant nice. But looking up at the tall wall with frames it’s covered in dust halfway up . Not very appetizing.

The Good Son is one of my regular go-to’s but the peach and greens salad has been less than great. The salad dressing was not evenly dispersed so some leaves didn’t have dressing while others were gooped with dressing. Not a big deal but would appreciate more care in simple dishes.

We came back to Good Son because our first time there was amazing and it’s safe to say the second time is just as incredible—maybe even better! We had the short ribs and the spicy rosé rigatoni this time, along with the steak tartare, the grilled shrimp lettuce cups and the tuna carpaccio and all of them were out of this world. The flavors were rich, bold, and just downright delicious!! The service, as always, was impeccable. Josh took such great care of us, and Jo, the manager, as always made sure everything was perfect, she is the sweetest and most attentive manager I have met! It’s clear this team genuinely cares about creating a great experience. Oh, and the drinks? Absolutely divine—seriously, some of the best cocktails around. Good Son has become a favorite, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!

Been here couple times. The only thing I want to say is the service here is just so-so. My girlfriend and I only come for the mushroom pasta if we don’t go any further.

Excellent, as always. The Brussel sprouts were amazing: highly recommend. And the festive drinks were unique and flavourful.

The pizzas were good. Salmon was delicious and so was the brussel sprouts. Third time here and will go again.

Our first time at the Good Son. Pizza burnt on the bottom. Salad unimaginative. So noisy conversation difficult. Will not likely return

Food was delicious! Only giving 3 stars because the service was slow and inattentive. We weren’t checked on while eating (or not for a lengthy time) and it took forever to take our dirty plates away. Our brunch meals were also very expensive considering it was brunch.
