The Golden Hind restaurant has been located in the heart of Marylebone High Street since 1914. The restaurant preserves the historic charm of its original beginnings back in 1914 to this present day.
Within this warm and charming atmosphere, we take pride in delivering the best quality of fish and chips to all our customers.
Our fish is freshly caught and delivered from Grimsby on a daily basis and then cooked and served in our famous homemade batter.

Great bistro on Marylebone area in London. Fish and Chips where top quality. Burrata appetizer was delicious too. They also have a good steamed salmon .

Excellent fish, chips and mushy peas - perfection. Service was friendly, quick and professional, the restaurant was very busy so ambience noisy but okay. (Wee bit pricey now - but probably to be expected these days). Definitely revisit !

This is a lovely neighbourhood place with amazing fresh fish. Nice, simple menu and friendly staff. I dined solo and will definitely come back.

I haven’t been to the Golden Hind for a couple of years. It’s still great fish and chips. The menu is much larger, so it’s not quite the local chippy anymore. However, my vegetarian friend loved the non-fish menu and had the deep fried mozzarella. The prices have increased a lot, but fish is more expensive everywhere. Service was friendly and helpful.
