Welcome to the Goldcroft pub, situated in the wonderful village of Caerleon, that sits on the banks of the River Usk. We have an extensive food menu and we serve 7 days a week. We are dog friendly and have a wonderful sun trap beer garden for you to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you.

Amazing food , summertime dinners out on the seating area of the restaurant pub , great atmosphere with lots of food options for everyone and a nice pub and staff that are friendly and welcoming to all, enjoy😋👍

Upon arrival, we were greeted by very friendly staff. When we were given the menu, we noticed that it was different to what we had seen on the website. We queried this and were told that the food we wanted was on the Monday to Friday menu. Maybe we both had missed this. To be fair, the staff did ask the chef, but we had to choose from the weekend menu. The food was really nice, and we all had no issues with it. The staff were attenuative, but not in your face. Will definitely return and recommend.

Roast beef dinner served with a smile , food was delicious & all the staff were happy & very friendly all girls were so chatty made us feel so welcome sunny day so we had a hour in the beer garden will definitely rebook

Food was only moderate and service very poor. Scallops were cold inside as undercooked and Prawn Cocktail served with a white burger bun bun no butter. Dalphinois potatoes were raw and asparagus very tough in places. Rest of meal was OK and reasonably edible. Strange as no one else was eating at 8pm on Saturday night except the doorman. We had to ask for our order to be taken after waiting ages and then ask for cutlery which was plonked on the table in a containerand not placed out. The mains were brought out while the starter plates were still on the table. We had to put our finished plates on the next empty table as not cleared away. One young man attending was pleasant but the young girl had an attitude. She was vague when serving drinks and repeating what you were saying but then when on to give the wrong drinks. The whole experience was very disappointing compared to previous times. Definitely won't be eating there again. Understood too late why no one else was dining.
