Another great family dinner. We love how the staff is so awesome with our 3 year old. Our server was so sweet to our son and made him feel right at home. The chicken Parm is always so filling and flavorful. Everything was cooked well and was delivered quickly. Will be back soon for sure!

Hesitant to return after our last time dining however this was a much better experience. Our waitress Shannon did an excellent job. We sat at a high top in the bar area. Shared a couple of appetizers off the happy hour menu and 2 dinner entrees. I ordered the salmon with pesto and asparagus. Unfortunately, the dish came with string beans and carrots. Shannon apologized and communicated the kitchen ran out of asparagus. Not sure how that happens for a standard menu item (especially this time of year when they are local). My husband ordered the shrimp and scallops over risotto, delicious! The salad was very fresh and large enough to share. Fried eggplant chips are a must. I would strongly recommend the hostesses read the table requests from OpenTable. I always request a table in a certain area (lounge, dining room, other (i.e., bar) and each time they tried to sit us in a different section of the restaurant. There is a new manager who was extremely attentive and appears to be on top of everything. Looking forward to our next visit.

Friday lunch was a great experience. We ordered the waiter's recommended Rose, which was perfect, and four appetizers. The meatball with gnocchi was outstanding, as was the Hipster fried mozzarella with delicious blistered shishito peppers and lemon zest. Calamari and a watermelon burrata salad were also excellent. My only regret is that we didn't have room to sample any desserts.

We had a great time like always. Andrew are server was very attentive and took good care of us. Food was great like always. Loved the sugar cookie ice cream sandwich! Nice new addition.

Everything needs help here, waitstaff needs more training, mgmt needs more training, table remain unclean, staff walks over spilled food, instead trying to fix it or get the proper person to fix it. nobody is paying attention. hostess stand was unmanned too long. We were warned not to go, but we did. A far fall from "most" of his other locations. I guess DB doesn't go here...... and BTW, the customer is usually right, starting a debate or argument with the customer, really makes you seem petty., especially over food items you serve EVERYDAY !! we didn't even have a single cocktail and the bill was $325 for 4 pp. Easy now, it's Union Beach. Location, Location, Location.......

I was really looking forward to eating at this restaurant for Fathers Day. However once we arrived my experience went downhill. I will say they were nice in pushing our reservation back 15 mins due to us running late. Upon arrival we were seated promptly and the hostess was amazing. Once seated we asked about the menu and were told they weren’t doing their “regular” menu, they had a pre-fixe menu for Fathers Day. That was never advertised on their website or when I made the reservation. So I felt like it was a bait and switch, since we only chose the place cause of the menu they offered and the unlimited mimosa special. Our server was decent, even though he made it a pint to say he doesn’t ever work brunch so was really not up to date on all of the offerings. The food was ok, everyone in our party enjoyed their meal, but me. But that might have been a by product of the longer than usual wait we had for all of our food orders. I watched as multiple families came in after us, ordered got their food/desserts before us. Our reservation was at 12:45 and we didn’t leave until 3:30. And we ordered our meals around 1:15. So you can do the math on that one. I was just really disappointed, for as much as they charged us per person for the pre-fixed items the service could have been better & it shouldn’t have taken us 3 hrs to eat. Especially when I saw a family come in after us, get all three courses & leave in an hour. I wanted to like this place and come back, but I highly doubt I’ll be returning to this restaurant after that experience.

The GOAT has become our go to for celebrations (and just having a good meal). The food is delicious and the service is great.

The GOAT lived up to its name on my Friday night impromptu visit to this fabulous gem nestled in the town of Hazlet, New Jersey known for its wood-fired dishes. The seasonal drinks were superb, selective wine list simply compelling and the inventive menu utterly outstanding! The attentive staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Celebrity chef David Burke was engaging and his bigger than life warm nature makes every person feel like they are truly home in his hometown. I really love the ambience and not to be missed Himalayan salt backed wood fire pizza oven. Upstairs they host comedy nights and entertaining acts for which I will have to pay return visit. I started off my meal with a take me to the tropics cocktail and paired a glass of 7 Oaks Cabernet with dinner. The clothesline bacon, a signature item at all of chef Burke’s establishments, gets an A for presentation. A new twist on fried mozzarella “hipper style” delightfully exploded in my mouth as a starter. It was hard to choose just one. So very delicious! A savory dinner special braised rib along with a perfectly acidic side of broccoli rabe sealed the deal. The GOAT is my new go to Jersey shore spot. It should be on your list for a culinary weekend getaway that cannot be beat. I will be back as soon as I can! What a gem!

Had the Friday night strip special. It was very good, huge portion. The octopus appetizer was amazing. Tried coconut custard pie for dessert. Terrible
