Situated in the heart of Hawarden village, The Glynne Arms is a 200 year old traditional coaching inn which has recently undergone a complete restoration inside and out, bringing it back to life.

Its philosophy is simple; to provide a warm, relaxed pub environment and excellent food in the restaurant. Visitors receive a warm welcome at all times, whether for a quick drink, a morning coffee or a meal… and dogs are positively encouraged.

The food was excellent, service great. The room was busy so the ambiance was good. The only thing that let the night down was being placed at a table right next to the coffee machine. So my husband & I could not hear ourselves talking every time the waiting staff were making a coffee!

I came here for my mums birthday. We had a waiter with blonde hair (Didn’t catch his name). He was very professional and knowledgeable. His character was bubbly And very outgoing. He’s smashing it. The food was beautiful! Everything we had was gorgeous, everyone here was really kind I would definitely come back here again. Thank you so much Xxx

The food we ate - Crispy squid, pulled lamb, beef burger and sticky toffee pudding - was all the best of its kind. The lamb in particular was unreal! We are already planning our next trip to Wales specifically to allow us to eat here again.

I love the Glynne Arms. Been a number if times and it never disappoints... everything about it .. the decor, the staff, the food. Always a lovely few hours with friends...thank you again.
