Delicious meal, from cocktails to ice cream and coffee. Lots of choices on the new expanded menu. We shared fried oysters and the peach & tomato salad. Ribeye steak with homemade fries for my wife; fish special for me. What made the meal was our waitress, Destin. Personable, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. A+++.

Everything was first rate. The server was outstanding. We’re traveling, so we don’t get to dine here often (second time in a year), but if we’re in the area, we would make dinner here a priority.

Server was impeccable. Super knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Food was super delicious and we weren’t rushed like so many restaurants do in today’s times.

The menu has changed since I had been here. The shrimp salad was not what I was expecting. The gumbo was too spicy. The pork chop was excellent. So was the redfish. A little disappointed over all.

The food and atmosphere were perfect. The service was excellent and the staff was very informative regarding the menu, including recommendations on specials and cocktails. Will definitely return.

Our first time dining at The Gloriette was Thursday evening with a 6PM reservation. We were greeted and seated immediately. We like to eat earlier than most people so we weren't surprised that only 1 other person was there at that time, and also it was during the week, not a weekend. Our waiter, Nathan came and greeted us and took our cocktail orders, which were excellent; I had the Pretty in Pink cocktail and my husband had the Redbreast 12 yr. Irish whiskey. Nathan guided us through the menu, and we also asked for his recommendations. As we drank our cocktails, he brought us some fresh croissants that had been made in the restaurant, which were fantastic! I had the Seafood Gumbo which was dark, just enough spice, with shrimp, oysters that were of a good size for gumbo. Bill enjoyed the Mussels and fries (Nathan told us was enough for 2 people), we then split the Gloriette Salad. I had the Redfish "Fisherman Style", Bill has the Gulf Coast Cioppino, and for dessert, I has the Dark Chocolate Mousse and Bill drank the Tokjai, a Hungarian port wine. Because it wasn't very busy, we were able to talk to Nathan about the restaurant, Northshore living, etc. as he was serving us. We weren't hurried and we enjoyed the food very much. We look forward to returning, not only for dinner but also to try the lunch and the brunch. Nathan was a very knowledgeable waiter and great to talk to as well. A great way to celebrate Bill's birthday!

Loved the shrimp and grits and brisket and grits! Bloody Mary was pretty bad- but the Sage cocktail was 100/10!!!
