The Globe had a good choice of food with good sized portions. The beer was excellent and the folk music made it a really enjoyable evening. (Wednesdays)

Previously raved about the globe but the food whilst excellent was very small portions compared to when we visited at Easter . A little dissapointiing

The service was very good although the menu was unimaginative. They ran out of fish & chips and the homemade flat bread was anything but flatbread with no explanation. We are in the middle of Devon with two amazing ice cream makers close by - Salcombe and Dartmoor then to be offered vanilla, strawberry or chocolate (boring)

Lovely outdoor area and bar, dog friendly, food came quickly and was delicious, nice cocktail menu was a bonus! Highly recommended ⭐️

We had a very nice meal at The Globe on the first night of our holiday. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the quality of the food was very good. Cocktails are a welcome addition to the offer! We recommend a visit.

We understand that the inn has been under new management since January this year and their customer service is excellent - everyone we encountered was very welcoming and helpful. We had booked online and asked about their gluten-free options, and we received a phone call outlining what they could offer, which was much appreciated. The menu offered a good choice of interesting dishes and the food was delicious. We particularly recommend the mozzarella and roast peaches starter!

We were served in a timely and friendly manner. Our food was tasty and we plan to visit again during our holiday. The menu is short but varied, including vegan and vegetarian. Than you.

The restaurant as I understand it is under new management and getting itself off the ground. We had an early dinner having been out exploring Devon for the day and found this the restaurant on OpenTable - we found the service to be very good - the staff friendly and attentive and food was very good.
