I like the vibe of the restaurant and the location to Playhouse square. Sat down at 6;15 ish and got our food at 7, so it was a rush to finish and pay before a 7:30 show. It wasn't busy or complicated orders (short ribs and French dip) but was disappointed that it took so long. Brittany, our server was awesome and attentive. The drinks were fantastic. Short ribs were pricey at $32 but hey, it was close to the theater and prices are skyrocketing everywhere. We will be back.

We went for the first time tonight. Ambiance was great but a wedding party made it very loud. We chose to sit at the bar and had excellent service and drinks. I had the brick chicken, which was good but had a lot of fat/skin and a bone!

Short staffed, service took quite some time. Being crowded was not the issue. Table of 3 sat down 20 minutes after us, ordered entrees after us, and still got their food before us. I should note, we were a table of 2.

Went with friends before a show. Was greeted both quickly and cheerfully by Starla, who is the bartender and server. She is fantastic and her martini was delicious! Had a good time with good food!

We made a 6pm reservation since we were going to PHS for a 7:30 show. All other area restaurants were closed on Monday. There were only 6 tables and 2 people working. We ordered drinks and our food as soon as we could. I never got my iced tea but at least she brought us bread. They apologized several times however we never got our food!!!!Apparently it was not even close to being ready at 7:15!!!! We ordered 2 salads and short ribs. We will never go back. They even charged us for the glass of wine!!!

The best thing about The Ghost Light is Star, our server. She is appropriately named because she truly shines brightly—so friendly, efficient and fun. The food is good—nothing special but perfectly ok. The menu has nice variety and the prices are reasonable. It’s a good choice for a pre-theater evening at Playhouse Square.

I had never heard of this place.. but was excited to try somewhere new. It was such a beautiful atmosphere and was extremely convenient being in walking distance to Playhouse Square. Our server was very attentive and made our dinner a memorable time. I wish I could give this rating more than 5 stars. Speaking of stars, that's who we had as our server (Star)! She was so sweet, and I will most definitely come back and request her. Thank you again, and I'll see you again soon!!

My husband enjoyed his dinner…I did not! The crab cake was TOO SALTY! I couldn’t eat it. And the server said she would take off the bill and she didn’t!!
