Lovely valentine dinner despite snowstorm. Excellent menu for two. Quality of the food was great and the serving staff (busser, waitress and hostesses) was welcoming and attentive.

This was a great place for our small group to dine on a quiet winter evening. We were seated in the space in front of the fire place. Service was perfectly fine, and the food was delicious. We would dine here again.

Wonderful service, top quality and variety of courses, and beautiful ambiance with a very simple and elegant rustic decor adorned with two different fireplaces. Highly recommend.

good date night for cold winter temps right by fireplace. risotto was good. walleye was 'ok' kept running into bones that I had to pick out. lobster roll was tasty and onion rings were a great side to it. crabCakes were undercooked and we couldn't even finish. overall good ambience and place for a dateNightDinner. Loved being by the fireplace.

The food was very good with some impressive portion sizes. I tried the shrimp diablo and was very impressed. The bread that came with the dish was phenomenal as well!

What a pleasant surprise at The Getaway! We reserved dinner before the Dancing Horses show on Saturday. The ambience is just beautiful, from the interior decorations, 2 fireplaces and incredible lake view, perfection! The service was outstanding, our server had numerous recommendations for us, one being the ravioli with bolognese sauce to the prime rib, all of our meals were amazing. Although all restaurant prices have increased over the past 4 years, I felt for the outstanding meal, drinks and service, it was well worth the cost. We will definitely be back soon, thank you!

Great evening at The Getaway. Quiet post-holiday crowd. Food exceptional as always. Had a fun and engaging waiter - Brad. Spot-on recommendations for drinks and food, comfortable table-side banter, attentive but not pushy.
