The George Steakhouse recently opened and is ideally located in the village of Wraysbury, just a short drive away from Windsor Great Park. We are the perfect place to stop by with your nearest and dearest for our mouth-watering 50-day aged Argentine steaks, a selection of draught beers, superb red, white, rosé and sparkling wines from around the world or even a cheeky cocktail. Whatever the occasion, our ambition is to welcome you with our friendly staff and give you a meal that is memorable. Took 50 minutes from time of order to receiving food - was told they were busy with a buffet in the Barn - well they knew that when I made the booking so why no extra staff on hand to take care of that problem - main meal finished and ordered some ice cream, much better this time as it only took 30 minutes They need to think about what staffing they can have if they want a buffet in the Barn to seriously effect their restaurant service - they will not though

the food was ok a little on the expensive side for the quality of it and the service was quite slow we had ti ask for the glasses to be cleared from the table, also the service charge is very expensive st 12.5% for the fact the service is slow, i would rather leave a tip for the staff for the amount I feel is acceptable than made to pay for us £35 service charge ontop of what was an expensive steak for the qulility Its not a place I would return to after this ben our first visit here , I would rather travel a little further and go to prime in Beaconsfield if I wanted steak.

There were 4 of us and we all decided to go for the steak, I nearly changed my mind to the calves liver. The ‘While you wait’ was enough for us. The steaks arrived and cooked to perfection, the chimichurri butter is a must have addition, chunky chips - crispy on the outside and a fluffy centre. All in all a very good experience. Will have to try the lunch menu next time.

Smart and comfortable with attentive service. The food was well prepared and presented. Menu options go well beyond steak. Reasonable pricing for food and wine. A little too much background noise from the sound system. We'll definitely go again.

Booked last minute for Sunday evening as was visiting LEGOLAND and honestly was THE BEST STEAK EVER! Waitress was amazing from Canada she was so welcoming we were one of two parties in the pub ! So cosy and warm really chill atmosphere! She gave wine recommendations and was super friendly and chatted to us and our daughter! The food was outstanding! Wed never heard of wet aged steak and it was unbelievable! We cleared our plates ! Such a simple meal steak chips and butter : Bernaise sauce with a small salad but it did not disappoint! We have told just about everyone to come visit ! I would genuinely travel for that meal again but when we are next down south we will stop by ! The manager was doing the bill and clearing and she was so excited we were made up with the meal ! Not expensive by any means for a decent steak ! So glad I did a Google search and found you guys ! Honestly a hidden gem and only 15 minutes drive from the holiday inn Windsor ! Staff 12/10 atmosphere 12/10 the pub itself just stunning 12/10 , and the food 100/10 it was amazing! Really made our weekend wasn’t like any other pub or restaurant we had been into it was just gorgeous! We will see you next year ! Cause I will make the detour from the city or Hertfordshire were we have family just to come ! This needs to be put above the restaurants they have ranked in Windsor town / Eton as THE BEST as they were stiff and stuffy and food was not worth the money ! We do a heavy carnivore type diet and so I make it my mission to find an unbelievable steak this whole meal exceeds every expectation I had ! It made our weekend my daughter said I love LEGOLAND mum but I can’t stop thinking about that STEAK ! Thank you so much sending love from Liverpool! We will be back x
