A place anyone can become George - where the party starts with you. Chef-driven American fare, unparalleled sports viewing, and captivating entertainment intersect to create The George Sportsmen’s Lounge, or for short – The George. The concept pays homage to classic Vegas big tippers, commonly called “a George” – a nod to the recognizable portrait on the one-dollar bill. The sportsmen’s lounge features indoor dining and a vibrant outdoor patio with wrap-around LED screens that create an immersive atmosphere for sports, live entertainment and private events. Sports wagering kiosks are also available within the lounge offering convenient entertainment for guests.

This was the perfect place to watch the ufc fights! The food was outstanding! The best food I’ve ever had! The buffalo chicken dip was to die for, Philly cheesesteak eggrolls were amazing and unique!!! And the Truffle fries were delicious!! I never write reviews, We came from San Diego to go to this place and watch the fights and it was a great experience for that!!

Very disappointing experience. When we arrived tables were moderately full. It was about 20 minutes before our drinks were order another 15 minutes a partial order was deliver. Apparently the fourth drink had been forgotten. After reminding the waiter we finally received the fourth drink. We placed our order for appetizers. After an hour and still no food we were told our order had been lost. While the manager and waiter apologized, offering us one desert for four people is hardly compensation for our experience. Las egos has too many options to settle for such unsatisfactory service.

We do love The George, but honestly, the noise level in there, especially now during football and baseball season, is way beyond Open Table's cute little top-end "energetic" rating option. There should be a choice that conveys that the noise level is just too darn high. Guests and servers having to shout to one another just to facilitate getting an order placed and served is not the pinnacle of "hospitality." We were seated in of the large booths, and we either had to snuggle up close together, or enjoy our meals without any conversation at all because it was just too loud. We opted for the latter which doesn't lend itself to trying to have a fun meal out with friends. The food was terrific and the service was fine... just not as quite as attentive as we've had in the past because the place was packed and each server seemed to have more tables.

This could be my new favorite place to watch NFL games. Food and service were amazing! Great value at $75/person for the whole duration of the early games. Highly recommend.

Terrible service. Not greeted for at least 15 minutes after being seated. Server got our order wrong. Never checked on us. Spoke very quietly during NFL football, so we couldn’t even hear what she said. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

I had a wonderful dining experience at The George at Durango Casino last night. We started with the Lamb Rib Appetizer, and it was outstanding — the lamb was perfectly grilled, and the pistachio mint pesto added a delightful twist. The Mediterranean salad complemented the dish beautifully. For mains, I ordered the Umami-Dusted Halibut and was blown away by the combination of flavors. The wild mushroom risotto was creamy and rich, and the truffle aioli paired perfectly with the balsamic roasted mushrooms. My dining companion had the Surf & Turf — the 6oz filet was cooked to perfection, and the grilled shrimp was tender and flavorful. For drinks, we enjoyed the Stag's Leap Red Blend Hands of Time — both paired excellently with our meals. Overall, I highly recommend The George for anyone looking for a great meal in a beautiful setting. I'll definitely be back!

The only problem was the terrible smell by the larger bar area garbage being gathered in the open by the bar staff. The bar staff left the garbage cart open and just kept gathering bags of garbage while the smell overwhelmed the whole area. I could not understand how everyone was so oblivious to the terrible stench. My date and friends were certainly not impressed.
