Love this place!!! Took friends that had never been to the new The George in Rockville Centre ( formerly GM Burger Bar). The menu has something on it for everyone. We started with hummus which was great! I often can’t decide between the sesame crusted ribs and a salad with some tuna on it - both delicious. This time I went salad. My colleagues went with Salmon and fish and chips both loved their choices. We shared the Brussels sprouts - covered in bacon and blue cheese crumbles. No possible room for dessert. A great meal!!

The food/service was great. The owner comes around making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Loved the Ambiance and the pictures of all the Georges on the wall. I highly recommended.

Was looking forward to trying The George. But unfortunately won’t go back. The noise level was so high we couldn’t hear each other talk. My husband had to send his ribs back because they were too spicy to eat. And he likes spicy. Prices were high. $20 hamburger.

Food and service were excellent. Gianna was attentive and helpful, Big bonus was the live music! She was great and it just added another layer to a great experience. We were a party of 5, two of us had the herb crusted salmon it was cooked to perfection. Someone else had the chicken Milanese salad, which was delicious and a large portion.- George Martin Group has done it again with this local gem.

Took the family to dinner last night. We are foodie people & were very excited to try this new 5 star restaurant that got excellent reviews. Well, we were very disappointed. The food was mediocre & some didn’t like their choices at all. The perogies were sitting in a bowl of butter - yuck! The potato skin with short ribs was gloppy. The fish & chips were of but my husband hated the short rib entree. And, to top it all off, the busboy poured malt vinegar all over my sister when clearing the table! I will acknowledge that the service and atmosphere was great. I will not re revisiting this place….Very disappointing

Amazing start to Father’s Day weekend! Dinner for 2 at The George! Started with great cocktails with the hummus platter! Delicious. We both opted for chopped wedge salads. My wife had a burger in hers I opted for the Ahi Tuna!!! Excellent choices!!! Really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to go back!!!
