GEORGE as a restaurant in a pub or Tavern, also known as a
Gastropub. Our menu is AMERICAN, several small plate options, ie.
Appetizers will be available and recommended for sharing.
We will take typical comfort food and twist it into a high quality
product. Salads will be made with quality ingredients prepared
“our way.”Composed plates will include some American staples uniquely made.

Always a great meal at The George!!! When we got there both manager Lauren and owner George Korten welcomed us with open arms (yes - we are regulars- why ? Because the food and service are consistently excellent!!!). Diane was our server!! She is the best ( actually - one of the best - they are all great!!! But we really like her!!!) We shared some appys while we enjoyed drinks. We had both the hummus as well as the charcuterie board (excellent choices!!!!). 3 of us opted for salads with l2 topped with tuna one salmon all were very pleased. One person had the tuna poke!! It was a great night !! Really enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back!!

We enjoy coming here with adults or our kids. Best time for kids seems to be early dinner on Sundays or weekdays. Great job!

The waitress was excellent and very responsive. The food choices were great and we really enjoyed our meal.

Family and I are from Seattle. Best pork chops I have had in a while. All of family members were very satisfied with their meals.

This was my fourth visit to The George. We arrived at our scheduled reservation time but our table was not available due to a full house. We got a drink at the bar and when it still wasn’t ready after 20 minutes I asked to sit outside since there was a table available. I wanted to sit inside as it was a very humid evening. We had friends with us and I didn’t want to have to wait. We were seated and it took our waitress about 15 minutes to greet us and take our drink order. I’m guessing perhaps they were short staffed as this has never been my experience before. The food was great as always and they don’t rush you so we had a nice evening. I highly recommend the pigs in blankets and the mussels….and their fries are amazing!

Dinner was fantastic. The specials were amazing, the drinks were spot on. Everything was cooked to perfection. I can’t wait to return!!!
