The George is Providence's newest piano bar and upscale casual dining restaurant featuring American fare, elevated comfort food, delightfully crafted cocktails, and live piano every Tuesday - Sunday.

Enjoy Brunch with Live Piano every Sunday from 10am to 1:30pm and dinner from 2pm to 5pm.

Our Speakeasy Lounge opens every Friday and Saturday evening at 7pm. Seating is available on a first come, first seated basis. Live music starts at 9:30pm.

Eddie our waiter arrived at our table and treated us like we were the most important people in the room. He was prompt with delivering our drinks and dinner. What a wonderful personality. The food was wonderful and a great value offering during restaurant week. My server was attentive to my needs but also gave me time to savor my meal without feeling rushed.

This was our first visit to The George and it was very nice. We went for dinner on Sunday at 4:45 and were glad we did. Our meal was calm, quiet and unhurried. Going early really allowed us to enjoy our time at The George. The food was very good. We plan on going back again.

The George is a place to enjoy with a sophisticated ambiance without being overly dramatic. With valet service and an attentive hostess, our booth was waiting for us as reserved. Eddie, our server, was welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu and gave us a full rundown of the night’s specials. Our selections were delicious and Eddie checked on us without being intrusive. A must go-to place for a memorable dinner.
