The George is Providence's newest piano bar and upscale casual dining restaurant featuring American fare, elevated comfort food, delightfully crafted cocktails, and live piano every Tuesday - Sunday.

Enjoy Brunch with Live Piano every Sunday from 10am to 1:30pm and dinner from 2pm to 5pm.

Our Speakeasy Lounge opens every Friday and Saturday evening at 7pm. Seating is available on a first come, first seated basis. Live music starts at 9:30pm.

Great service and great specials - thought food was just okay. My husband did have a great surf and turf special. Has a great Monday night dinner for two special.

Loved the historical vibe walking in…but the service set the bar high right out the gate. Very personable, outgoing, wanting to make it a great first time visit. Maddie (our server) was so attentive and the specials sounded amazing so we ordered them all. Food was spectacular, continued great service and then followed by a history of the speak easy. Highly recommend and will be back!

Great staff and the owner came up to ask how everything was. The home fries were not fresh, but my eggs were cooked perfectly. This restaurant is a great place for a cocktail.

Myself and a group of 7 friends decided to dine at The George before a show at PPAC. The location was perfect it was a very quick walk over to the venue. We had reservations and were sat as soon as we arrived. Eddy was our server and he absolutely made our night, he was knowledgeable, friendly and kept us laughing. The food and drinks were delicious. The portions were huge. The dining room was loud enough that several in my group mentioned it, however we all enjoyed ourselves regardless. Eddy mentioned that sometimes on show nights that does happen. He also let us know that The George has brunch on Sundays and live music Thurs - Sat (I think those were the live music nights). We will definitely be back - I’m looking forward to try many more of their amazing menu offerings!

Our first impression of the restaurant was outstanding. The gentleman at the door greeted us with a warm smile and caring attitude. He also checked-in on us throughout our dining experience. In addition, our server, AJ, was incredibly attentive and timed our meal perfectly. AJ was very personable. She made our night! We ate in the bar. The atmosphere was very comfortable. Also, the owner plays piano on Thursday evenings. I love the piano and it was a wonderful surprise for us! The menu had many great options. Food and drinks were delicious. Would also recommend splurging on dessert and espresso martini's. Great experience. Would highly recommend.

The food is so wonderful and the service is great! We have been here several times and are never disappointed! Last night, we had a special that had been added to the menu and it was delicious.
