The George on the Riverwalk is in the downtown area of Wilmington, North Carolina. A great location, along with the great food, have helped to make this a very popular eatery. You can find inside or outside seating right on the river. As one of the only dog friendly restaurants in the area, we welcome your furry friends! We provide heated decks in the winter as well as amazing views of the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, the USS North Carolina Battleship and amazing sunset views year around! Whether you choose to visit us by car or boat, we provide 3 hour parking vouchers for the lot across the street and have a 90ft floating dock located directly on the Cape Fear River!!

We went for brunch. Highly recommend the crab Benedict and the mimosa flight.

Beautiful inside and outside. Food was delicious! Not overpriced either. Thoroughly enjoyed and look forward to going again!

Waitress was very slow. Took a long time to get our drinks after asking twice resulting in watery cocktails. Delivery of food was also slow.

Awesome outside patio & beautiful view (even though we had to ask for a better table when there were a few available). Great Server- she was attentive and there when we needed her. Food was average. Crab dip quite salty, crab cakes mediocre (didn’t taste like any crab cake I’ve had), barramundi fish was fine, nothing exciting. Overall the food was disappointing. Awesome drinks! We were finishing our last two sips of wine when the music was turned off and the outside fans turned off. That was a very unnecessary and abrupt end to the evening. It was obvious we weren’t going to hang out much longer and they made it clear they wanted us to leave.

Great views, great cocktails, great service, and the food was delicious! My boys got the filet and it was grilled to perfection! Blackened catfish dish was delicious!

Great food and great service. The table was a bit of an issue as water was dripping down on me from the a/c. I just switched seats (couldn’t see the river) but, all and all, a great experience.

Our 4th day in Wilmington and finally found the place to dine! The Blackened Catfish or the Black Bass is absolutely worth it! My husband even said we’ll drive back down here for the weekend just to get this again. Server Gabrielle S was great and very sweet! Beautiful setting for dinner make sure u sit outside for the sunsets.
