The beautifully refurbished George Hotel offers not only fine dining and comfort dishes in the colonial inspired décor of the restaurant under Head Chef Bennaisa El Akil, but an array of cocktails in the lavish Bobbie's Bar, as well as decadent Afternoon Teas in the botanical haven that is the Orangery.

Always a very friendly welcome from all the staff at The George Hotel. Service is always excellent. the food is both delicious and excellent value for money! Beautiful relaxing surroundings. What more could anyone wish for?

Our first time at the George. The dining room is very nicely decorated. The service is friendly, informed and professional. Every member of the team is on the same page and genuinely wants to make your stay/ dining experience as good as possible. Food was delicious. The restaurant was busy but there were no undue delays. Definitely book in advance as we saw a few people disappointed not to get a table. All in all a very happy experience, would certainly recommend.

We love the place but was disappointed with the lamb Kebsbs the meat was tough and one meal was under cooked . Disappointing as it was my birthday meal out with close friends . The staff were perfect etc just our meal let it down. The hotel rooms are perfect

Great lunch with a friend. Lovely quiet table. Enjoyed the food - salads; nicoise and Caesar fresh and plentiful. Nice decor and ambience and really friendly attentive staff

Fish and chips not nice, the batter had a funny taste and was a funny colour yellow and under cooked. Some of the larger chips were under cooked. And the salad had to be asked for , which should have been on the plate, with the calamari. The breakfast had been under the heat lamp for too long. We complained about the fish and chips during the meal no one told us snything, it was still on the bill. I complained and it was then removed. This is the third time we had visited in the last couple of month, previous meals were very good

Excellent service, good atmosphere, acoustics could be better. I chose the wrong starter, my fault. Nothing wrong with the food. Quick service. Would choose a table away from the kitchen doors next time. Would go again. Thank you.

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea here yesterday. Food was delicious and all the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Service was prompt and we were delighted that we have such a lovely place to eat and drink in our new village . Will definitely be back again. Thank you 😊

We have eaten here a lot but sadly standards have dropped considerably. Which is very sad. Food was not good. I always look forward to the lovely fresh bread even that was hard and a disappointment. Two meals should have been sent back but we couldn’t be bothered we just paid and left. Didn’t even bother with desserts and coffee :(
