The beautifully refurbished George Hotel offers not only fine dining and comfort dishes in the colonial inspired décor of the restaurant under Head Chef Bennaisa El Akil, but an array of cocktails in the lavish Bobbie's Bar, as well as decadent Afternoon Teas in the botanical haven that is the Orangery.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea can also be enjoyed on our terrace when the sun is shining.
With shades of Victorian inspired elegance, this professionally designed and individual destination is a hidden gem in the Cambridgeshire countryside.
We serve bar food throughout the day - Monday to Saturday between 12pm and 9pm.
On Sunday we serve bar food along with our set Sunday menu including roast options between 12pm and 8pm.
Our A la carte menu is served Monday to Saturday between the hours of 12pm and 2.30pm and 6.30pm and 9pm.

Wonderful lunch with great food and service in a charming hotel restaurant. We had Dutch friends with us and they loved it.

Food always very good here - four of us had different meals - family get together. 3 out of 4 meals very tasty - but the beef burger was questionable - checked it was actually beef burger & not vegan burger but didn’t taste like it & it had carrot in? They took off the bill.

We have been here before and liked the atmosphere, the food and the staff so when my wife wanted to go out for her birthday I booked it up. I wasn't disappointed the service was tip top and the food really nice.

We had a very relaxing meal for four after Huntingdon Race Meeting and the staff looked after us very well with good service and food. Happy to recommend and visit again.

We decided to try The George having recently moved to Buckden. We were certainly not disappointed! Menu was varied and all courses were super tasty and well presented, delicious and hot . The staff , both waitresses and waiters, were friendly and efficient without being overbearing. Service was prompt and the ambiance was relaxing. We will be back! Thank you for a lovely evening.
