Excellent service and lovely food. No rushing you from course to course or pressure on you to leave. They even helped jump start our car when we were leaving.

Very pleasant staff. Food was excellent. Service just a little slow. Overall a really good evening and i would recommend to anyone.

When with my family to celebrate my birthday, we were greeted very warmly and escorted to our table. We ordered our drinks, which arrived within 5 minutes. We were not pressured to order our food quickly, we left alone, until we were ready. Food was delicious, service was of the highest standard. Well Done THE GATE , well done the Management, well done the Chef 's, well the Service staff.

Very enjoyable evening celebrating my wedding anniversary. Really impressed with the service. Staff very attentive & friendly. Food delicious & loved the new makeover of the restaurant.

Reasonably priced food, no frills but not too shabby either, starters good size as we're mains, staff polite and courteous, worth a visit.

Place really pleasant and clean, food was amazing, staff were welcoming and polite. Only thing was had to wait a while between courses other than that highly recommend.
