The Garden Room at the Mayflower Inn & Spa offers delicious seasonal cuisine, drawing on fresh local ingredients. We highlight the bounty of New England's best farms, produce, and products available. Fresh seafood, heirloom produce, poultry, and more are being executed by the exceptional team at The Mayflower Inn & Spa.

Our restaurant currently serves an a la carte, garden forward menu for lunch from 11:00am to 1:45pm (M-F) and an a la carte dinner menu daily from 5:30pm to 8:45pm.

Lovely room, very nice waitress, loved the added touch of a desert to celebrate a birthday. Menu is limited and food is nothing special.

Our meal at the Mayflower Inn was nothing short of spectacular. What an amazing place, service, and food. Cannot recommend enough!

Service was friendly and nicely attentive. Sommelier was fantastic! Menu is limited but nicely varied. Swordfish special was great, beef tenderloin was chef recommended at medium rare but served mostly black & blue, chickpea pie sounded interesting but unfortunately underwhelmed. Scallop crudo was nice but a tiny portion. Desserts were exceptional all around. Mayflower Inn and the ambiance are always the stars of the show.

Such a beautiful space. Lovely service. We were given the Garden Room menu but noticed Caesar Salads and burgers at some of the tables near us. When we inquired they said we could also order from the bar menu. We ended up mixing and matching from the two menus. Caesar salad, cold corn soup with crab salad and scallops crudo were outstanding, as was the burger. Unfortunately, the rice in the wild mushroom risotto that 3 of us ordered was nearly raw so inedible. My husband cut his burger in quarters to share with the other three of us and it was so good (as were the fries) that we got a second burger to share in the same fashion. They apologized and took the risottos off the bill, and all was well. The sourdough bread (which has to be ordered) was outstanding and the salted butter was yummy, but we had to get a second serving of butter as the first was not enough for the generous portion of thickly sliced, crusty bread. All in all it was a very pleasant meal despite the risotto mishap.

We celebrated dinner on our anniversary at this restaurant. It is a beautiful space in a beautiful inn. Food was outstanding, as was the service. The whole staff was very attentive, helpful, and accommodating. Definitely would recommend for any special occasion.

I love this place . We live over an hour away so we get there early and enjoy a long drink and dinner and then stroll around the garden if it is nice weather . I am partial to how it was years ago and I miss the piano. But the level of quality in the food and service is impeccable . We are always happy to see our favorite staff member Kurt when we come . Hopefully we will make another trip this fall . It is a gem nestled in the litchfield hills . Thank you again for great memories 💕. Kimberly & Jim

We made reservations for brunch at the Mayflower Inn on a recent trip to Connecticut and it did not disappoint. Our servers were so friendly, the food was fabulous and the Garden Room was so stunningly beautiful. I'll definitely be back!

Terrible service. Oysters were supposed to be 6, only received 5. (Bus boy comes over and asks if I’m finished with them. All the shells were turned over so obviously they were finished. ) appetizers were served 10 minutes apart. Took another full hour for entrees. Waitress was lovely. Kitchen was a disaster. Food was fine.
