We enjoyed our experience. Manager was excellent helping us pick out a bottle of wine. Fried green heirloom tomatoes appetizer was best we've ever had. So crispy! Braised Bison rib was fall off the bone tender and flavorful. The chef suggested ordering the elk medium rare. It was a little too rare and chewy for my taste. Would order again medium. Flavor great. Service started out slow, but other waitstaff helped pick up the pace. Would definitely dine there again.

Beautiful winding road to get up to restaurant but so worth it!! The food is outstanding with such wonderful mix a flavors and excellently prepared! We started with a nice bottle of wine and the chefs choice appetizer with duck and elk and 2 different sausages! Delicious!!! Then we had the elk Denver leg and the emu!!fabulous!! And the the decadent bread pudding and chocolate mousse!!! Great service as well!! A must place to eat! We drove 1 1/2 hrs each way and it was so worth it!

Having traveled to many countries this summer and dined at many famous restaurants , The Game Keeper has been one of the best . I look forward to another visit.

If I could give a 10 we would. From the time we arrived we were great by a very nice young Man who parked our car. We arrived about an hour and a half early so we went to the bar where Emily greeted us and made us some of the most delicious cocktails! We then sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful peaceful views on the patio. We went back in to possibly see if we could eat a little earlier and they accommodate us with no problem. We ordered another amazing “bar keepers” choice from Emily and then we were seated and greeted by our server Grayson. He gave us great suggestions, was such a pleasure , and truly was everything you could ask for when it comes to perfect service! Everything we had was so amazing and perfectly cooked. We were celebrating our anniversary and they so graciously treated us with the most delicious bread pudding I’ve ever had which was so kind. As we were leaving Emily came out to tell us bye and that was truly such special way to end the night..she was so kind! Needless to say we had one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a very long time and it truly could not have been better. They treated us like family and we will definitely be back!

My friend and I dined at the Gamekeeper last night. We started at the bar with Emily serving us wine. At our table we enjoyed the mixed grill appetizer. It was fabulous as always. Then I ordered the hanging beef tenderloin. Delicious!! My table mate had the bison short rib and raved about it! On the drive home he said he enjoyed the experience very very much and felt like a king the whole time he was there. I will be back next summer. Great job Gamekeeper!!!

Everything was great except $60 meal is pretty ridiculous. We have been here multiple times in the past, but I don’t recall the prices being that high. It would be a much more pleasant experience if the meals were $40/ each and you didn’t feel like you might miss the mortgage payment over a steak.

I had the greatest experience eating at the Gamekeeper, my waiter and staff were the best I made reservations about 3 weeks ago. I got a call confirming my reservations, I spoke to the young girl I wish I remember her name she was great. I told her this is probably once and a life time chance too have dinner here and that's on my bucket list They comped my whole dinner I almost cried I can't recommend this dinning experience enough Thank you 😊 soooooo much
