The one thing I hate is flat beer. The way to add a head is to put a sparkler on the end of the pump. The bar staff had no idea what I was talking out. The need proper training in bartending in real ale. If the kitchen serves big thick chips they need to ensure the centers are cook, not raw.

We have tried most things in the lovely restaurant/pub so last night we tried the pizzas and have to say not disappointed as always it was great

Well presented Sunday lunches at a fair price. Desserts made in kitchen which is nice to see and quality also good. Well kept Woodfordes ales on cask. Clean tidy premises with friendly welcome, attentive but not intrusive staff. All in all rather well done and decent value for money. ❤️🙏.

This is a lovely place to go to eat , service is good and the staff are really nice Food is really good quality , the roast dinner was delicious We will definitely be back

Lovely place to have Sunday lunch. Staff are attentive and polite. Restaurant area is lovely, not too overcrowded. Pub area is very quaint and cosy. Well done team.

This is the second time we have been here of a family meal. Great service, really relaxing atmosphere and good food and beer, what else do you need.

This was my first visit to the Gamekeeper. It has a great menu, some unusual offerings. BUT the service was so slow orders were incorrect. Special requests noted but not delivered and we weren't made aware we couldn't have what we asked for. My selection was from the large plate part on the menu and admittedly the plate was large sadly the food didn't fill it! Left feeling hungry.
