Under the direction of celebrated Michelin-starred chef, Lisa Goodwin-Allen, The Game Bird is inspired by great seasonal, British produce and the bustle of historic St James’s. Together, Lisa and Executive Chef Jozef Rogulski have created a menu overflowing with an innovative combination of familiar favourites and delicious surprises.

All Day Dining (Mon-Sun) between 12pm and 9pm.
Breakfast from 7am-10:30am (Mon-Fri) and from 7:30am-11am (Sat & Sun)
Afternoon Tea from 12 – 5.30pm daily (please note that if you have any dietary preferences, please advise us a minimum of 24h prior to you booking. Requests outside this time period or on the day may not be accommodated due to availability of produce)

The food was ok but given the cost I didn’t consider it good value. The service was pretty poor we waited ages for the menu then had to constantly chase up service after that, too shes to submit an order etc. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy and there was plenty of staff but to get their attention was difficult

We had a magical Christmas lunch at Game Bird. Our meal was delicious and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed the champagne cart and we had the smoked salmon and oysters as starters and our main courses were the potato pancake and the chicken Kiev; both were prepared expertly. We traveled from Florida and would certainly return on our next trip.

We enjoyed a Sunday evening dinner at The Game Bird. The Sunday roast is only available until about 3 pm, so I had the Duck Wellington and my husband had scallops. Everything was delicious and we had a nightcap in the adjoining bar. Overall, a lovely last evening for us in London.

Exceptional as always. Enjoyed oysters, fish carved at the trolley and then the signature duck pie. Finished with crepe Suzette and some cheese. Great staff with flawless service.

Located in a quiet corner of Mayfair, a place where you can relax, chill out and enjoy the good food and service. The food is well executed and presented. We spent over 3 hours there for my partner's birthday lunch. It was a very quiet day but we didn't mind as it gave us plenty of time to enjoy the lunch....

The quintessential London dining experience with the silver trolley cart serving tray and the table side carving of the succulent perfectly cooked roast beef from the standing rib roast. Not many silver carts left in London. And the side dishes, including Yorkshire pudding were well done. They also served the best gravy I've ever had in my life. They must have had 20 waiters, wine stewards, servers, bus boys (women) swooping in whenever attention was needed at our table. Not cheap, but,, a great experience in an elegant old London hotel.
