Welcome to The Galley! We have your perfect location overlooking the Big Rideau Lake and marina from our roof top lakeview deck, marina view undercover boathouse patio, or gas-dock bar/lounge and dining room, complete with full resorted boat bar.

We are open seasonally for 6 months, May through October. Our executive chef Laurie Ann Brennan has created great feature dishes, generous appetizers, pub food, amazing burgers and wraps, generous salads, and hearty entrees. Enjoy from our selection of 10 on-tap beers from craft breweries and a wine list that is unique and personally curated.

It is the perfect spot for an intimate expereince or spot to meet up with family and friends. Stop by in your boat or pull into Portland off of Highway 15 and head to 11 Water St. You won’t find a better location on the Big Rideau to to expereince a relaxed environment with fantastic food and drink.

Number of items listed on menu were not available. Service was very slow…, more staff is needed. Fish Chowder was nothing more than corn and potatoes in a clear broth. We’ve had many great meals at the Galley but this time was a miss all around.

The food was great, very delicious. But we actually went for the view and it did NOT disappoint. We were literally on the water! 10/10

Excellent Service and atmosphere!! When on the Big Rideau Lake you have to stop and have a drink and yummy food!!! We love it!

It was a wonderful afternoon! I brought my parents to the Galley for them to experience the beautiful views with a Florida Keys atmosphere. We all had the very hearty Seafood Chowdah’ with a plentiful order of Coconut Shrimp! The service was amazing! We even met the cook who made the Chowdah! (Loaded with an assortment of seafood) Big shout out to the Galley Girls! Great job! See you on the water!

Our evening out with family, we decided on the galley restaurant and it was fantastic! The view by the water, the food and ambience was amazing! It was a great evening!

Good food atmosphere but waited way too long for food and drinks. Other tables dined and left well before us so was quite noticeable.

We have been going to the Galley for several years. Always great service and food. We sat on the upper deck for lunch........beautiful looking out on the marina and lake. Would highly recommend this location to family and friends.

Enjoyed a great meal and some drinks with our group overlooking the harbour. The renovations have made this an amazing location to dine ‘on the lake’ while enjoying great food and drinks.
