Established in 1970 by the late Mike and Kay Tinios, the Galley Hatch has been a seacoast favorite restaurant for 50 years. An extensive menu offers traditional American Food highlighting New England seasonality and serves lunch and dinner daily. Collectively, the Three Dining rooms, Tap Room, and four season Lower Deck, provide seating for over 400 guests. With sky-lit dining areas, a fireplace, wooden booths, and large round tables, The Galley Hatch boasts a charming and cozy New England ambiance.

Great dinner! We had a death in the family this weekend and had been at the funeral that morning and it was just so nice to have a nice quiet dinner to relax a little after the crazy week we had. Our waiter was amazing. I think his name was James, but I wasn’t really paying that much attention. Thank you for a great evening. We so needed a break and some amazing food and drink.!

This is a casual bar scene and it is exactly as expected. We had scallops (with bread crumbs), salads, salmon, clam chowder and chicken fingers. All plates licked clean. Cocktails were well served. All in all, not fancy just plain good! Angelica, our server, was AWESOME! Very attentive with excellent recommendations!

What a delicious fried fish sandwich! Adorable, pleasant, and efficient server. Great food at a fair price in a comfortable atmosphere.

Always a pleasure to eat there. Waitstaff is friendly and efficient and food is consistently good.

I Went for the Baked Stuffed Lobster. Excellant. STUFFED with crabmeat, scallops and lots of shrimp. Definitely will go to Galley Hatch again. PS. The Rueben sandwich is one of the best.
