Established in 1970 by the late Mike and Kay Tinios, the Galley Hatch has been a seacoast favorite restaurant for 50 years. An extensive menu offers traditional American Food highlighting New England seasonality and serves lunch and dinner daily. Collectively, the Three Dining rooms, Tap Room, and four season Lower Deck, provide seating for over 400 guests. With sky-lit dining areas, a fireplace, wooden booths, and large round tables, The Galley Hatch boasts a charming and cozy New England ambiance.

I Went for the Baked Stuffed Lobster. Excellant. STUFFED with crabmeat, scallops and lots of shrimp. Definitely will go to Galley Hatch again. PS. The Rueben sandwich is one of the best.

My family and I had a great lunch recently! We had not seen each other in a while and were able to have our conversations without feeling rushed! Our food was delicious and service on-point; very friendly! Thank you, Melissa!

Max was awesome as our server 😀. Prime rib was delicious and the sesame seared tuna with wasabi was a new tasty treat!

We reserved for an early dinner at 4:30 and the restaurant was very lightly seated at that point. We were on time. They had chosen a 4 top table for us near the swinging doors of the kitchen in a basically empty room. We asked for a different table because it seemed silly to us that we should be seated at that table when the restaurant was essentially empty. The hostess must have been annoyed by our request and took us to another table in a different section of this empty restaurant that should not have had anyone sitting there. We said thank you and never said another work to anyone. The waitperson was pleasant but either very inexperienced or not suited to waiting tables. The food was ok but not enough to make me want to return any time soon. I have been eating at the Galley Hatch for at least 40 years and this was my worst experience to date. Disappointing. Stephanie
