Valentines Day Dinner in the Library was so elegant and romantic.. The menu was extraordinary and dining was delectable! Our server Kate and the support staff were so kind and professional!

It is always special going to the Gables. The ambiance is wonderful and the food and service is always outstanding.

We’ve dined here a number of times and loved the restaurant, food and ambience. Thanksgiving here was wonderful. Valentine’s Day food we found to be disappointing. The duck was tough and relatively tasteless and the pork was flavorless. The tables for two were too close to one another and unfortunately the service was subpar. So very different from our most enjoyable thanksgiving meal. Even though we were disappointed, we will still return and enjoy this very special restaurant.

One of the best restaurants I have ever visited anywhere in the world. Absolutely love this place and is my go to for special occasions. Just a unique experience with top notch food and service.

A fabulous New Year’s Eve 4 course dinner with incredible food, atmosphere and entertainment. The “ to go” goodie bag was a nice added touch for the guests. Would highly recommend.

Not uncommon my historical response, love the fact the Gables brings NYC to LBI. The New Year's dinner was awesome as always. Can you tell I'm a long time fan? Show and dinner, the best Lbi has to offer simply....See you Valentines day my friends

There was a 35-minute gap between our first and second course and then a 20-minute gap between the third course and dessert. The look on the servers' face made me think we were forgotten. I had told the server when we first sat that we had an 8:00 show at the theatre around the block. We had a 6:00 reservation and two tables near my table sat after us and left well before we did. We were 15 minutes late for the show. Service was definitely lacking. Food was absolutely amazing. I would not go again if the restaurant is expected to be crowded. They either do not have enough wait staff or they just cannot handle it.
