We had some issues with the hostess not understanding how to put our tables together (group of 8) even though the reservationist said they would take of it no problem. We waited 40 minutes to get our drinks, including lemonades for our children. I was told after the meal that the manager had to pull a bartender from this restaurant to another restaurant in the building which is what caused the massive bar delays. The shared nature of the space and management seems very problematic from a service perspective and the bar delay really ruined our experience unfortunately.

Pasta and pizza-outstanding 2people were told they could shsre one salad and they had llittle to eat. Prices very high. For that reason, would not come back.

I had a reservation and was initially seated at the bar next to the ovens. I couldn’t stand the heat and requested to sit elsewhere, which they quickly accommodated. I ordered a drink with the waitress while I looked over the menu. After 5-10mins, she did not come back. Another waiter asked me if I had ordered and if there was no action, they would step in. Another 5-10mins pass by, my initial waiter tells me the bar is running behind. Waited another 5-10mins, and she brings me the incorrect drink. I waited again to call her attention and order food. It took forever to leave and pay. Overall she was friendly and engaging but the wait was too much. Being a solo traveler I felt I didn’t get the best service as other tables with more people. As for food, it was nice but nothing to write home about.

Legitimately one of the best meals I have EVER had (and I eat out almost daily — so this is really saying something)!

We really enjoyed our meal here last night. The pizza was excellent. We ordered the limone pizza and it was so delicious. The mixed Cobb salad was also wonderful but too much dressing. My husband ordered the chicken cacciatore which was great but definitely needs extra tomato sauce on the side. Overall, very delicious meal.

Nothing can ever be said negatively about Frenchman’s Dough or anything else in the Tin Building. From the moment you enter the doors to the Tin Building until the time you pay your check it is a wonderful experience. Our favorite restaurants are The Brasserie & Frenchman’s Dough.

Long wait to check in. There was a line and no one was at the front desk. But after someone came service was good. Waitress served me and I got my food faster than expected. Very crowded and active so the staff were definitely busy. My pizza was great. I worried about it being too big but I was able to eat it all myself. Got my water filled. Maybe better to go on a Sunday or weekday. But overall, place was neat and I’d go again to try the other pizzas 💚

One of the worst dining experiences I have had in some time. Came here for Mother’s Day. Service was slow despite there be very few people in the restaurant. Limited menu and then they were out of items despite having opened 15 minutes prior. The baked eggs were actually raw - like totally clear on the plate. They acted rude and annoyed and when I told them. The other peoples orders were so tiny, the ravioli was three very small ravioli. One persons order came out so long after everyone else’s we had to decide whether we wanted to eat cold food or eat without them. Just an overall bad experience and would never return.

I had a reservation for two, but my friend canceled at the last minute, so I ended up dining alone. Unfortunately, this made me feel like an afterthought throughout the evening. Instead of giving me the reserved table for two, they directed me to sit at the chef’s counter, which I accepted, but I didn't expect the subpar experience that followed. After waiting for ten minutes without any attention, I had to ask around to find out who my waiter was. I had questions about the menu and was extremely thirsty, simply wanting a glass of water. When my waitress finally appeared, she was unfriendly and made me feel like a nuisance. Despite the restaurant being only two-thirds full on a Saturday night, I rarely saw her except when she took my order and later my dessert order. She didn't deliver any of my items or check if I needed anything. Instead, I saw her chatting with the hosts, kitchen staff, and bussers. When I tried to get her attention, she looked irritated, as if I was interrupting her while she reapplied her lip gloss. Although the food was very satisfying, my experience at the chef’s counter was disheartening as I noticed that no one was smiling. Does anyone there enjoy their work? I am a fan of JG restaurants and will continue to visit them—in fact, I was at ABCv earlier this week—but I am hesitant to return to this particular spot or recommend it to friends.
