The Fox Inn dates back to 1790 and is 250 yards from the beach in Felpham. The pub is independently run and known for its cosy friendly atmosphere, serving a great selection of quality wines, world lagers and local & national ales to complement our freshly cooked locally sourced food.

All our food was delicious, well presented, served promptly and with care. The selection of available food and wine was very good. The restaurant area was clean and tidy and the tables well spaced. The toilets were also clean.

Had a great meal at The Fox 17 Jul 24, an authentic place, great freshly prepped food, everyone enjoyed their meals 6 of us (3 salmons, pie, fish chips, steak) along with starters all really good. We had really good personal service - which can be a novelty these days. Really enjoyed that aspect. We didn't take our dog along on this occasion but would definitely do so - the area was roomy and would easily be able to accommodate our Viz - good outdoors space and good choice drinks etc. Thoroughly enjoyed it food was really good, atmosphere/service great, so overall a very good/excellent night for all. Thank you at The Fox :-)

Having booked a table for 4 people prior to arriving at the restaurant on 6th July, we were shocked to find the whole pub was packed out and very noisy due to a live televised football match going on. The reserved table in the restaurant area was non-existent and we were offered the next available table in the bar area which was very busy and crowded. We cancelled the reservation and left the premises. At the time of booking I was informed that there would be a table of 20 -30 people in the same restaurant area which was acceptable but no mention was made that the entire pub would be transformed into a replica of Wembley Stadium! This experience was a great pity because my wife and I had an enjoyable lunch at The Fox the previous month and based on this experience, we recommended the pub to our 2 companions and made the booking for the 6th July. How disappointing!
