    🦊 FOXMAS 2024 🦊 What is Foxmas 2024 ? That time of year is nearly here again. Our Foxmas Christmas Parties are here. Every Friday and Saturday in December until Saturday 21st December £50 per person which includes: A Glass of Homemade Punch on Arrival, Performers, Festive Plated Hot Buffet Homemade Dessert Station and DJ. Full Payment will be taken upon booking. There are options to pre order table wine and beers and also options to let us know if you have any dietary requirements.     Food was unremarkable and quite poor quality. Meals weren’t brought together. Duck was overdone. Overall wouldn’t go again

    Excellent food as always. The menu is varied so there are always new things to try as well as the tried and tested. The baked Camembert was excellent and served with a lovely chutney - we were offered additional toast if required. Portions are good. The service is helpful and friendly.

    We arrived for our 2.30pm booking, we ordered our starters and mains at 2.40pm at 3.45pm we had still not had our starter so we had to go and ask where they were and got told they had been given to another table, we then had to wait for them to be made again, food was lovely when it arrived and the staff were very apologetic, they said we would not be charged for our food with having to wait so long which was a very thoughtful gesture and one we did not expect, we then waited for our main meals that came out at a good time, it was Sunday lunch so we waited for all the sides to arrive, yet again we waited a long time and noticed a member of staff realise they had forgotten us again, when we spoke to the member of staff serving us she apologised again, after speaking to the chef she told us we would not be paying for any food or drink and gave us a voucher for us to hopefully use if we would like to return ( we obviously would have rather paid and had no issues but sometimes things go wrong) the food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so lovely it’s such a shame we had a blip in the time management, we will definitely be trying again and hopefully all will go smoothly .

    Just off the scale the Dover sole and scallops were cooked to perfection.

    We booked due to the fact that the restaurant was dog-friendly for food. I had taken recommendations from the people of Stourbridge all saying it was. I even called to check and was told it would be fine in the pub area. 10 minutes later they called back and said dogs not allowed during food hours. When we got there the eating area was empty so it was only us in the room and could easily have had dogs. There were also dogs in the bar and outside. Disappointing. However, other than this, the food and prices were good (halloumi and fish and chips) and the service also good. We will probably visit again.

    Maybe it’s because it was a Friday but poor service Had prawns in garlic butter to start (which was delicious) but no where to put the bits of prawn shells, and nothing to clean your hands with. Asked for butter, never arrived. Asked for another beer, had to ask again after 15 minutes. When our steak mains cane out had to wait about 10 minutes for the chips to arrive. Two others in our party had ordered chips with the main but none arrived, asked where they were, they said “just coming” then 10 minutes later, when they had finished their mains, the under cooked chips arrived and were un eatable. Sat in the conservatory with the windows open, when they fired up the pizza oven the smoke was blowing in All in all a crap evening My advice don’t bother

    This was my first time eating at the Fox and it was great! Food was delicious and staff were lovely!

    Nice place from the outside. Booked a table and when we arrived we were shown through to a, what’s described as a conservatory. Not welcoming at all, dirty floor, dirty tables and not a nice place to eat at all. We asked to sit outside and we were given a device , when it beeped we have to go inside and collect our food ourselves which I thought was very odd. Don’t think we would go again for food but it seemed to have a big garden so maybe drinks
